Bush getaway in the Bega Valley

The Australian Bracken Fern (Pteridium esculentum), an edible bush food endemic to Australia and New Zealand, lends Bracken Cottage its name. Bracken Cottage is a two-bedroom mud-brick cottage on Rock Lily's 100-acre bush block. Views are to the north and NW over the eucalypt forest that covers most of the property. It is suitable for a family or group wanting a base for rural adventure or a spot to gather and escape the city on a sustainably-managed property and has a dog-friendly fenced yard.

Birdsong Cottage, Bermagui. The peace of the bush.

Birdsong Cottage is located on a hectare of bushland on the outskirts of Bermagui. With two bedrooms and a large, open plan living area, deck, courtyard and well equiped kitchen, it makes an ideal getaway for up to two couples. Sorry, no kids. Many King Parrots and Lorikeets come to feed, and in the evenings, Wallabies and Kangaroos can be viewed feeding just below the house. Goannas, Echidnas, Possums and Lyrebirds are also regular visitors to the property. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet.

We are conveniently located near Kianinny Bay. The space is perfect for couples to enjoy the Sapphire coast, beaches, national parks, mountain bike tracks, and local award winning oysters.

Lily Pond Cabin, an artistic potters cabin.

The Lily Pond Cabin is one of a pair of bespoke cabins on our farm. Artistic and comfortable , full of art and personal touches, including my handmade pottery. There is unlimited NBN, so you can stay connected, in the peace of nature Next door is the shared Sunny kitchen, with a BBQ, a handmade dining table and wonderful views to the sacred Mumbulla Mountain. The water you can hear flowing into the lily pond is home to frogs who will serenade your quiet walks out into the starry night..

Lily's is located on five hectares of Spotted Gum forest seven minutes from town, beautiful beaches and the river. It is private, self contained, in a peaceful bush setting. Change pace; enjoy a drive along 3.5 kms. of well maintained unsealed road. Watch out for Lyrebirds, and other native fauna. Provided is a breakfast basket, with sourdough bread, honey, homemade mueseli, and granola, local milk and yoghurt.
