The Studio Somers

Once a beach shack, became an artist’s studio, then rescued as a comfortable home and holiday escape, close to the beach and Somers General Cafe. A wonderful place to sit and relax, walk on the beach or explore local wineries and farm produce. In order to safely manage the conditions brought with COVID (and maintain our low tariff) we introduced a 3 night minimum. We are now able to offer a 2 night stay but this is at a higher rate than a stay for 3 nights or more. Please enquire for the rate.

Casa Frida Studio Moonlight cinema & outdoor bath.

As you enter the ivy-covered Balinese gates, be prepared to be transported into another world! Also be prepared to walk the steps to the top. (70m incline) The view from the studio comes at a price and if you are prepared to walk the steps.... there's enormous gain when you reach the top. We have created a little tribute to our favorite places - Indonesia, Morocco, Spain and Mexico. If you are after a 5-star hotel stay - we don't recommend our property - Come for the experience of Casa Frida!

Seahouse Studio - Private Beach Access, Pets

Seahouse Studio is located on one of the Mornington Peninsula's most spectacularly unique properties. This converted battery house sits perched atop a cliff, overlooking uninterrupted views of Port Phillip Bay, where dolphins frequent and the Melbourne CBD skyline peeks through the horizon. Wander through the beach path on the property, taking you directly down to a secluded beach or spend your time on the deck with a glass of wine, enjoying the sunset. Nestled behind a large Oak tree and lush gardens, this charming two bedroom cottage is located on the Mornington Peninsula and is within walking distance to Balnarring Beach and shops. It has a country style kitchen with Coonara fireplace, two living areas and is ideally suited to four people, although it can accommodate up to five people This is a cat and dog friendly property. Tucked down a quiet dirt road lined with towering pines, our little cottage is a 5 minute walk to Balnarring village; home to top notch eats, craft cocktails, a brewery, and boutiques. Here for the seaside? You’re a 3 minute drive from Balnarring Beach.

Short 1.3km walk to the beach, huge fenced garden block with views of Westernport Bay, an abundance of bird life and wineries close by. This enchanting light filled home comprises of 3 bedrooms, with one king, one queen and one king single bed. Wooden floor boards throughout, full kitchen, family room, two bathrooms, a wood heater and sheltered decking with a barbecue.

Driftwood @ McCrae

Our one bedroom studio apartment with ensuite is conveniently located 1 km from McCrae beach set in 2/3 acre of garden. It comfortably sleeps two and is dog friendly only (no cats). However, I need to know in advance if you intend bringing your dog. You also have the use of a deck with bar-b-q and sea glimpses which is adjoining the main house not the guest house.
