Un petit paradis au cœur de l’Alentejo typique, entouré d’oliviers et d’arbres fruitiers, avec une piscine au sel ouverte d’avril à novembre. Situé dans un endroit très calme, le WiFi n’est pas très puissant mais fonctionne, une belle occasion de se déconnecter ! Idéal pour les amoureux de la nature, avec des levers et couchers de soleil magnifiques et une faune sauvage environnante. L’accès à la propriété se fait par un chemin rural en terre, typique de la région et accessible à tous véhicules.

Sesmarias Mel is a traditional “Alentejana” style home located amongst the gorgeous rolling hills of the Alentejo region. The 90 ha property is situated just outside the quaint village of Cercal do Alentejo and is surrounded by the meadows and ancient cork-oak trees that are iconic to this part of Portugal. The tracks that pass the property and lead into the scenic surroundings provide ample opportunities for hiking/biking, and the beautiful beaches of the Alentejan Coast are a short drive away.

The House with a natural swimming pool (uv filtered) is on the edge of the small village, overseeing the valley. Although in the middle of the countryside of Alentejo, the access is easy accessible for all cars. Sao Luis, the charming village nearby (5 km), you can find markets, restaurants and other services. It is 20min drive to the beaches of Vila nova de Milfontes

Our home is an agricultural cottage renovated into an open plan loft with 3 bedrooms (2 in mezzanine open style/no privacy/no tall people) located in the traditional Alentejo hills and 30min drive from beaches and surf schools of the Vicentina Coast. The village of Cercal is 10 min drive away. We both grew up in the area since babies and therefore we love coming here throughout the year. Having this 'monte' is a refuge for us which we enjoy to connect with nature and the sea.
