Recently refurbished the Old Stables at The Brow is a spacious stone built 2 bedroom (1 twin, 1 kingsize) flat with sofa bed, travelcot & offstreet parking. Multipurpose set up for those travelling with kids, enjoying the countryside, walks, golf, cycling or visiting the city. We live next door so can help with most arrangements.

Gardener's Cottage with Stunning Views

Situated in woodland and fields is a small c18th farm with a beautiful light open-plan Cottage and spectacular views of National Trust Gibside and the Column to Liberty. Wild swimming, cycling and endless walks lie just beyond its gate. One of five dwellings, the Cottage has a private entrance and exclusive use of a small south-facing garden. Night skies are spectacular and often punctuated with calling owls and the rustle of hedgehogs & badgers. Bird spotting and fishing is another delight.

The Lake House

The detached Lake House is set in 11 acres. Ravensworth is an enchanting village with many of the houses dating from the 17th century. The village is defined by its green, and ancient ruined castle, only a few miles from the pretty towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle . A village pub and two wonderful farm shop cafes within walking distance. The Lake House has uninterrupted views of the lake and surrounding woodland. The Lake House can also be booked together with Willow Cottage.
