Cheap car rental companies are just one street away as well. I believe in energy efficiency, and so tenants in my units pay their own electricity. The unit has two air conditioners and if they're used 24/7, this will add to costs, as Mexico employs an escalating electricity scale from 0.7-8.5 pesos/kwh. The more that is used each month, the higher the applied rate. At the start of each stay, a rental representative will show the initial meter number, and the number at the end of the stay. The difference is to be paid in cash at a rate of 4 pesos/kwh. Please conserve energy if you can. Laundry is free for guests staying a week or more, but must be activated at the front desk. Small building fee charged to short stay guests.
