Rocky Mountains : locations de vacances dans des dômes

We did a friends weekend getaway to Paso Robles, and Steven's place was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The house completely blew us away with its cool architecture, artistic furnishings and stunning 360 views of the surrounding vineyards. We loved how the dome shape emphasized communal spaces making cooking and socializing a breeze. Nothing we wanted to do or see in Paso was more than a short drive away but honestly we could have never left the Dome all weekend and been perfectly happy. Thank you Steven for curating this unique space!

De passage à Monument Valley lors de notre Road Trip en famille avec nos 2 enfants. Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de ce Hogan. Debby's place was a perfect stay. We wanted to be close to George Fox University, yet not be right downtown. This apartment was secluded and quiet. The view was beautiful because the trees and the beauty of nature surrounded you. The bed was comfortable, and the apartment was quite spacious.

The geodome is a unique stay. The cabin was comfortable and and well-styled. An added bonus is that there's plastic kid-friendly bowls, plates, and cups so we didn't need to worry about our young ones breaking anything. The open layout was ideal for our family to socialize while cooking and there's a cute play area upstairs with toys for the kids. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to soak in the stars a night next to the fire pit. Maria was super responsive to all of my messages (responded in a few minutes), which was helpful when I couldn't turn on the washer/dryer since the breaker had tripped. Maria helped me locate the electric panel to flip the breaker and there wasn't any further nuisance tripping. We enjoyed staying at Maria and Jared's geodome and would come back again!

Really a great and nifty place to stay! Perfect location close to Purgatory and the hot springs. Would definitely stay again!

Thanks for having us! What a beautiful, serene environment, the dome is truly magical. Roisin is a wonderful host - kind, responsive, and helpful with many recommendations for the local area. The sauna was a welcome bonus, and we enjoyed our time greatly. One tip for future guests - don’t think it snows that much in Lund, but if so, suggest to bring an AWD or 4x4; local country roads can get a little a hairy. Thank you again Roisin!

Ill have to say that of all the airbnb places we have stayed i really felt like i was at home this place is very recommended for any event or a romantic getaway or for your family !!! Thank you ellen for everything God bless you and we look forward to another stay some day .

Martha’s home is beautiful, well maintained, and was the perfect place for me to host a small retreat (9 people) for folks to unwind and connect. The upstairs kitchen has a long table that people can hang out at while others cook, there is plenty of space for folks to spread out inside the house and out, and the beds were so comfortable. Martha was responsive to any questions I had. We had a great time and we hope to be back!

Blake was super snel in reageren heel flexibel en enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam De voorzieningen zijn super, mooi terras met vrij uitzicht, we hadden dome 10, parkeren goed, bed fijn, badkamer prettig, had extra handdoek rek neergezet kunnen worden. Slapen met uitzicht op de sterren, heerlijke tuinbank, 2 extra stoelen en leuk extra zitje. je kon er volleyballen en disc golf spelen, lekker wandelen. Bij de receptie waren versnaperingen te halen, ijsjes koffie en kleine maaltijden. Enorm prettige stille plek, en toch om de hoek van Bryce National Park

Beautiful location. Lovely to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the peace and quiet. Especially loved hearing the wolves howling at night. Kitchen had all the appliances you need and the bbq was an added bonus.

Very cute and cozy geodesic dome with great ambience. Looked out over mountains and pastures and grazing cows and gorgeous cottonwood trees. Mini kitchen (we grilled on the gas grill on the deck) and nice place to relax. It was too cloudy to stargaze so I guess we have to go back! Abiquiu night sky is amazing and this deck would be the perfect place to do that.

This is a family friendly destination farm with lots of extras. The new sauna, hot & cold plunge plus fire pit area made me regret only staying one night. Definitely plan time to take advantage of these bonus amenities! Kids have a huge playground, tree house and in ground trampoline. Dream vacation for everyone in the family

My family really enjoyed our trip to the Dome, a perfect getaway amidst the craziness of year-end school stuff at home! Jean has thought of so many details to make the Dome extra welcoming. The beds and linens are comfortable, there are an abundance of games and puzzles, there is workout equipment (yoga mats and light free weights), and, best of all, a great coffee set up (coffee maker, pour over, french press, grinder, espresso machine!). I loved connecting with my kids over the original nintendo games (new system, just plays old games). There is a highway about 50 yards (+/-?) from the front of the house but we didn't hear any road traffic at night. It's noticeable during the day time but doesn't really detract from the scenery. Also, be prepared to carry your luggage up the tight spiral staircase right at the entry. I'd imagine this would be difficult for some. It's an easy 10-15 minute drive into downtown Estes Park, and about 20 minutes to the Beaver Meadows RMNP entrance.

The dome was a great experience. it has great amenities and was well furnished. Nate was a very responsive host; when we had a small issue with the lock, he responded and took care of it within an hour. The only downside to our stay was we expected the dome to be more remote, not close to houses and a hotel. As long as you're ok with this, Nate's place is close to both services and the National Park.

Staying here was absolutely lovely! My partner and I checked in after finishing up a long hike along Baker Lake and being able to soak in the hot tub while still enjoying nature was such a great way to end the day. Sheila provided super clear instructions on how to arrive and labeled products by use, which we found very helpful. Sheila was also very responsive to any questions we had while there. We were also happily surprised to see the hosts had prepared the materials within the wood-burning fireplace, so it was super quick to get the fire going at night. We would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area! We look forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at The Dome. The views were spectacular and the bed was super comfortable. I could have stayed in bed and looked out the window all morning. Don’t hesitate about booking this home. One of a kind stay! We drove into Madrid and had dinner at The Mine Shaft Tavern. Food and service were great. You should definitely try the margaritas!

The views from this place are dreamy, and it’s close to Ashland’s town center which is lovely. One note is that it definitely does get warm inside even on chillier days with the sun coming right inside, but the AC inside cools it down very quickly. It was an amazing stay, we even saw a few deer from the patio area! Would definitely stay here again

This place was absolutely amazing. It was well kept and was just the most peaceful place we’ve ever stayed in. Definitely highly recommend and will be back again!

This was our second time staying at the Dome House and it was another great trip. We enjoyed the hot tub, hot chocolate by the fire pit after, and a nice dinner and games in the cozy dining room after. My partner even fit in a proposal. It was a perfect stay.

We had an amazing night in the dome tent! Enjoyed a fire with s’more’s in the evening and coffee by the fire in the morning. Beautiful spot and very close to town and Hurricane Ridge! Highly recommend!

Amazing experience with beautiful views & very clean/well organized space. For us, it did rain quite a bit on our time at this location but was able to still fully enjoy the space even with the weather! I agree with others, it’s best to try to not arrive at night cause it can be a bit spooky with trying to get to the location but overall we felt very safe and loved our trip away! Thank you Holly!
