It's rare to find a place that's both historic and one-of-a-kind. Sleep at the base of the Wind River Mountains in tipis!! A true unique Native American experience. Remember this is a campground so there will be noises of outside, bugs (ex. Mosquitoes), and outdoor elements like wind and rain. To better accommodate for these common annoyances of the outdoors, we provide bug spray, diffusers, propane heaters, powered fans, and more. Crazy Horse (14' tipi)

Crazy Horse & Custer traveled this way to Devils Tower. This tipi can comfortably sleep 4 adults. Each tipi has as two burner stove, 3 gallons of water, a pot, coffee fixing things, a propane lantern and a solar lantern. There is no electricity on the property and an outdoor solar shower available if desired. Sleeping places (pad, sheets, blankets and pillows) can be set up for a total fee of $30 for 4 payable on arrival; more available for $10. Please request this when making a reservation.

This Tipi comes with a queen bed with a fitted sheet only, and a futon (no sheet). Linens are available for rent onsite. The campground has complimentary hot showers, a fully equipped campground kitchen, large furnished Pavilion, drinking water, ice & more. We are 5 miles from downtown Cortez, on 20 acres of sacred land. It also has outdoor chairs, a fire pit, and access to all the campground's amenities. Price includes 2 guests, it is $10 each after, up to 5 total.
