Situated on the lower ground floor of a traditional 200 year old Cumbrian Bank Barn the Stable has charm and character yet modern day comforts. Nearby Ulverston, has regular festivals and many independent shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

Enjoy our holiday cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Many lakes, fells and beaches are easily drivable. Birkrigg common isn’t far and gives lovely views. The pub’s a 5-minute walk away and serves food most evenings There are buses to both Barrow and Ulverston and beyond at the end of the road. Ulverston is famous for its many festivals which attract lots of tourists. Barrow is only a 10-minute drive away for shops or if you want to go a little further Walney nature reserves are lovely.

Bay View Cottage is a fabulous ENTIRE Ulverston home extremely well suited for a romantic escape for two people or for working in the area, or working at home, great WiFi. Very peaceful here no road noise lots of bird song, cosy up and enjoy the panoramic view. Very close to town centre it has own entrance with a key safe, so arrival time can be totally flexible, and there is private parking. We use a Professional cleaning service to ensure the place sparkles. Much better than a hotel room!

Our charming one bedroom cottage is located in Ulverston, South Lakes. The cottage itself has been recently renovated with brand new kitchen & bathroom featuring a waterfall shower! Other added amenities include dishwasher, free WiFi and Smart TVs. Located a short stroll from the centre of the busy market town you are close to a range of great independent pubs, restaurants and shops. With local bus and train services close by it makes a perfect base to explore the Lakes and surrounding areas.

Welcome to our South Lakeland cottage. Surrounded by countryside, Ulverston is famous for being the start of the Cumbria Way, the birthplace of Stan Laurel and year-round festivals. The limestone and sandstone cottage is situated at the gateway to the Lake District National Park and is ideal as a base for walking, climbing the fells and visiting the lakes. Return and light the open fire in the living room and enjoy a home cooked meal or visit the many popular restaurants and pubs nearby.

Located in Swarthmoor, on the outskirts of the beautiful market town of Ulverston, this well equipped cottage is a mile outside the town centre (20 min walk or 5 minute bus ride from the end of the street). Our home is close to both the Lakes and the sea, situated in the centre of the vibrant market town of Ulverston which is packed with a good variety of restaurants and non chain bars. The cottage was built in 1890 and is located in the heart of the town. The house has good kitchen stocked with all the basics, from herbs, condiments and even the odd tin of baked beans, so if you fancy cooking, you can!. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, friends and business travellers.

Situated on private grounds the converted rustic, small, stone built barn with adjoining kitchen, shower & toilet pod-NOTE TOILET IS NEXT DOOR TO THE SLEEPING AREA - SEE PHOTOS. The sleeping area has woodburning stove, 2 armchairs, chest of draws, radiator & superking sized bed (can be converted into 2 singles upon request). Surrounded by fields & 500 metres from the centre of the historic market town of Ulverston. It is situated 10 minutes from the start of the Cumbria Way walk.
