This cozy house is a moment away from miles of unspoiled beach and is set up to make your stay comfortable! We are 10 minutes away from the swimming pigs by boat or you can kayak or paddle board over yourself! Spend your days on the beach soaking in the sun and spend your nights listening to the surf and feeling the fresh ocean breeze... ***PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING SO THAT YOU KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE COTTAGE & PROPERTY***
One bedroom with queen sized bed, full bathroom, sitting room, full kitchen, outdoor deck, flat screen tv, air conditioning and most importantly - miles of beautiful beach at your doorstep! Borrow our snorkel gear or kayaks and paddle board to have some great adventures on your gorgeous tropical vacation! There is NO internet available at the cottage but there are several places in Rolleville with free wifi, including Exuma Point Beach Bar & Grill, 5 minute walk away, or Shoreline Restaurant, a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Island internet can be unreliable so if you NEED Internet to live perhaps a remote and somewhat undeveloped island (part of Exuma's charm) is not the best choice for you!
The neighborhood is completely private.

  • We had a great time at Martin's beach house! We absolutely love the Exumas and after visiting six months ago and staying in the south side of the island, we wanted to do something a bit more remote and stay in Rolleville this time around. Martin's place is a cozy little cottage and we knew what to expect based on some of the other reviews. We weren't expecting a luxury experience and treated it as a place to sleep with a gorgeous beach just minutes away. We loved opening the windows and hearing the sounds of the ocean as we slept. The flats just down the street were also amazing - check them out! If you are into exploring the island, Martin does have a rental car for hire which was super convenient (a rental is pretty much needed in Exuma). Keep in mind that if you like a change of scenery or to explore other areas of the island (like we did), at this end of the island, you are about 35-40 minutes to Georgetown and around an hour to Little Exuma. There are a few little things that could have made our experience better - kitchen doesn't have a ton of items - think: can opener, baking sheets, and oven mitts. We also went out in Martin's kayak to see the swimming pigs and halfway there the kayak filled with water - beware on that one! Overall though, we had an awesome time and really loved meeting Martin and Kahadeah. Shout out to Taj as well, who helped making planning our vacation super easy!

  • So many great things to say about our trip! This has been our favorite Caribbean trip so far, partly because of the real-island experience we had, and partly because Exuma itself is such a beautiful island. We have stayed at Sandals resorts twice before, and both times we loved our time in the resort. However, this experience will give you a chance to get out and see more nature, mingle more with the locals, and have the freedom to explore more of the area without having to pay for every little excursion (like you would with Sandals). My wife and I stayed in the yellow cottage for a surprise Valentines Day trip, and we both loved the location and privacy. It was nice to have a full kitchen, although the yellow cottage is older and the refrigerator kept making a loud noise on and off. This kept us awake the first night, but we dealt with it by either shutting the bedroom door and turning the fan up, or unplugging it every night and putting our perishable food items in the freezer. All in all, everything is fairly basic and simple, but it is clean and you will have all the essentials you need to sleep (and cook, if you need to) when you're not enjoying the beauty of the island. I will say a word about Taj......... I started planning this surprise trip for my wife months ago, and Taj was able to answer every question and concern I had. She was very helpful, detailed, and essential in helping me to plan the best trip possible for our stay. Thank you so much for all your help and your patience, Taj! We also met Kahadeah, Martin, and the kids. They were all very kind and accomodating when we needed anything. Martin gave us a ride from the government docks to Stocking Island and back. Kahadeah was always available next door to answer any quetsions we had and to provide us with any additional items we needed in our cottage. Thanks to everyone who worked to make our first time in Exuma great! We plan on returning again!

  • Hosts were very accommodating and responded quickly to emails. We loved the remote location and having the beach nearly to ourselves. Restaurant next door was good and just a short walk away. Everyone that we met were very nice and helpful.

  • Great host and perfect location!! We will definitely be back!!

  • Martin was Fantastic host, great communication. Made us feel so welcome. Beach hut we stayed in was great walked out of our door and the beach was 1 min walk you could see the ocean from patio. It was nice and quite, local restaurant 2 min walk on beach, everyone super friendly and food was great there. Martin does tours to the pigs! would recommend hiring a car if you want to get about, we didn't hire a car and the locals did give us lifts which was great. overall a great stay and will be coming back to Martins!

    Bertrand2017-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Larry and Barry are two of the best hosts we've ever had the opportunity to stay with. Barry showed us around, gave great tips on where to eat, watch the sunset, local evening entertainment and even found someone to bake my husband a Birthday cake. I had come down with a cold upon arrival and Barry had an old family remedy he cooked up and it worked! He checked in on us several times a day and Larry sent us a few texts as well. Barry is a cool cucumber and remained helpful and calm as we called him with a tire issues...twice! It's a cute place to stay and very clean. We loved the location even though it isn't on a beach, there are several close as well as the restaurants, the airport. We loved the south end of the island for Mom's Bakery (she is 86 and her Rum Cakes plus Coconut Bread were excellent), Tropical Breeze and Santanna's but gas up in Georgetown before you head that direction as there is no gas. We went to Stocking Island for Chat'N Chill on Sunday. You take a $15 boat ferry (over and back) and we had the roasted pig for $23 a plate ($25 if you pay by credit card), the food was just okay, drinks were good but spendy and it really wasn't quite as exciting as we thought it would be. A lot of people though, good music, a great little store and several people raved about the conch salad made fresh on the beach. Sea Rays come to the shore and that was fun to see as well. CoCo Plum Beach is one of the top 5 beaches we've every been on. Find out when low tide is and go about 2 hours before and you can walk way way out on the sandbars. Look carefully and you will find sand dollars in the water. My favorite place on the island and we visited everyday if not twice a day. Check with restaurants on when they are open. We ran into a problem on both Monday/Tuesday. We can't say enough nice things about this place and our host(s) Barry and Larry.

  • If you’re looking for an awesome Airbnb, this is it! Barry (Larry’s brother) was such a great host! He showed us around and told us all of the hot spots, where to go, where to eat, directions, and set us up on an amazing day tour to see all of the fascinating things in Exuma! We couldn’t have found a better host and he loves to share all the things he loves about the island! On the first night, he took us to a local spot to eat and was so excited to order us the fish and let us try the conch salad. And that was just the beginning! The second day he took us over to chat and chill and gave us the ultimate experience. Not to mention, he saved us when the ATM and CC machines were down and we needed gas. We cannot thank Larry and Barry enough and if you’re going to Exuma then you should stay here.

    Taylor2018-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Larry's place was very nice and quiet. A great place to enjoy with your loved one. Walking distance to Sandals resort and Grand Isle. There was also a pub within walking distance that stayed opened late. If you don't plan to spend your stay at the resorts, you'll definitely need a rental car to get around town. Larry and Barry had great communication with us and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Barry picked us up from the airport and showed us a few places around town, he also made sure to get us back to the airport on time for our flight back home. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

    Mikayla2017-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • This was hands down the best experience we ever had with air b n b! We were picked up by Barry at the airport. We paid $20 each way. He was super polite and amazing! He took ya out for breakfast, lunch and dinner and took us to different beaches. He even set up all our excursions and helped me arrange a private candlelight dinner to surprise my boyfriend. Barry actually even cooked breakfast for us himself one morning. Each day he literally took us for food, beach, anything. The service was so great that we offered to leave an ADDITIONAL tip at the end of the stay! Can’t wait to go back!

  • Larry and Barry were very accommodating with lost visitors such as myself. Very patient! Many thanks to the brothers and their beautiful space.

    BahamaDream2017-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • Larry was a great person! He answers all your questions in a timely matter. A great place to stay. Barry the host was great too! He helped out in every way he could. He helped get things organized and gave good suggestions on things to do there. Barry checked in with you every day to see how things were and if you needed anything. The house was very clean and had everything you needed there. It is what the picture shows. I would stay there again. In my book this was a number one place to stay! The only thing is, that you should have a car, otherwise it would be hard to get around. Was very happy with the stay.

We have an artist island house that is set up for couples or friends to enjoy dramatic views of the sea. The house has an open space plan. The living area opens up to large deck as a true indoor outdoor living space. It is a nice spot for Lovers.
This is a romantic island home set on a 60 foot cliff with a west view of the Sea. Dramatic cliff line views at all times of day. Well appointed interior design very elegant vintage rattan original art painted by Daniel Caldwell the owner.
Car: Recommended Bahamas Sea Cliff Cottage is my artist island home built in Bahamian vernacular style similar to Loyalist Cottages built by boat builders 200 years ago. We have a large deck to enjoy beautiful views of rugged tall cliffs with a million shades of blue Bahamian waters that are in dynamic change throughout the day. Enjoy the sea birds and rich marine life below. The island has much to discover both culturally and in its pristine natural beauty. The views from our home are the best....each day brings dynamic changing, light, wind and tide on the Exuma Sound. There are truly amazing sunsets. The house is brand new with simple elegant island inspired decor. Some of my Daniel Caldwell isalnd paintings are featured. You can bicycle, walk, or go by car to local beaches to surf , snorkel or collect shells and sea glass which is a local favorite . Engage in the friendly Bahamian community which is great fun. Relax and unplug from busy world. If you like to read, write , sketch, or paint watercolors..... its a fine spot for this. There are several local style restaraunts and grocery stores near by. There is live music nightly at different venues up and down the island. Find out who is hosting the live music when you arrive. You can rent surfboards or Kyaks, or go fish with a local guide. Several places in Gregory town provide this. In Gregory town check in with local fish dock in town for fresh fish , lobster stone crabs or conch. Conch salad is excellent ask who is making it that day. Go to Pam's Island Made gift shop visit with Pam and see the creative talent of local artisans Pam included. • By far our all time favorite place to stay... this place is simple, quiet and has everything you need. The house and the views are breathtaking and locals are extremely friendly. Already booking again for winter.!!!!

  • Our stay at Dan's home was lovely and so relaxing. The house is gorgeous and in a great location to explore towns on the island both north and south. The view off the deck is incredible. We saw a family of sea turtles swim by every day. We were very comfortable to relax at the house. The house was well equipped with most of the things we needed. The island of Eleuthera is an incredible place. Perfect for the person that enjoys exploring and has a sense of adventure. There are many day trips worth taking so you should be prepared to rent a car. Dan was extremely helpful and sent an organized guide with recommendations of places to discover, restaurants to try, and people to seek out for guides. I would definitely recommend staying here!

    Kate2016-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • The view is incredible. The snorkeling off the cliff had more sea life than our dives, and it was squeaky clean.

    Joanna2018-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • You can not miss this! When you arrive at the property tucked away in the bush, your breath will be taken away when you see the view! My family and I cliff jumped every day (it was a bit terrifying, but well worth the experience and thrill!) and felt comfortable in his home. The indoor and outdoor shower have beautiful views of the Caribbean; you feel as if you're in a luxury resort. If you're lucky you'll get to watch a storm brew over the Caribbean. The lightning lit up the sky for miles and the thunder sent chills up your spine. We made friends with the locals too...sea turtles, reef sharks, and potcake dogs! Every adventure was an experience in Eleuthera & Daniel's Sea Cliff Cottage made Eleuthera feel like home. I can't thank you enough for making our stay spectacular, Daniel!

  • A magical place. The blue sky, sea, turtles, stargazing at night. All blessings. Daniel’s artwork great, decorating wonderful.

  • That was a awesome place to stay!

    O'Malley2017-07-25T00:00:00Z

    Gregory Town, North Eleuthera, Bahamas

Near Montague beach and fish market, next door to grocery store, coffee shop and pharmacy. It's a short ride to the center of town and Paradise Island. It's a beautiful spot, nestled in a quiet, safe and secluded street with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the peace.
It's a beautifully renovated historic cottage. Lots of charm and warmth.
The locations is key, you can walk to all amenities. Montague beach is just around the corner and offers the best conch salad on the island. You can also pick up a local catch of the day to put on the grill. Only 100 meters to a starbucks and less to a wine bar. Everything you need is at Harbour Bay shopping center, just next door.
  • Great place, full of character and charm, plenty of space, well appointed, we really enjoyed the week we got to spend at Jessica's cottage. We liked the location, easy walking distance from an iconic Bahamian restaurant (Poop Deck), a dive shop as well as a supermarket (Solomon's). Would recommend hiring a car though to make the most of all the island has to offer (eg it's only a 5 min drive to paradise island/cabbage beach). Jessica and her sister welcomed us and had heaps of recommendations re what to do & where to go. Communication was easy. In short, highly recommend staying at the cute cottage.

    Harald2017-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica was a wonderful host. She directed the cab driver to her home to drop us off and met us outside to show us around the property. Her home is absolutely adorable and truly captures the beachy Bahamian vibe we were looking for. The street the house was located on was safe but the surrounding area wasn't too safe. We were a party of 6 so we had safety in numbers and there are a few restaurants very nearby in walking distance. The grocery store is a five minute walk as well as the liquor store, and downtown Nassau and the straw market are about 2 miles away-walkable, but I would only recommend walking during the day. Jessica was very helpful in informing us about the neighborhood, things to do nearby, and how to get around. Overall she was very warm and accommodating, we would definitely stay again!

    Alyssa2017-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • The house is much bigger than it appears in pictures! Very affordable for a large group or even a couple such as ourselves. Walkable to Paradise Island and many restaurants on the main island. 20 minute walk to ferry terminal for day tours. Plenty of space in the house for cooking and relaxing.

    Gina2017-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was well planned, and Jessica was very helpfull. Good place to stay.

    Roel2017-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • This little cozy cottage is as described, and a great location for walking into downtown or crossing the bridge to paradise island. We found a great new restaurant just a few steps passed the shopping center next door called Wild Thyme - awesome Bahamian food! We had two couples, but this comfortable cottage would be nice for a family, too.

    Deb2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica's cottage is perfect for a group of four. She has a nice quiet cottage on a cul-de-sac equipped with everything you need. Would recommend.

    Steven2018-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica's place is very nice. Cute little cottage within walking distance of downtown and Paradise Island. The shopping complex down the road is very convenient.

    Benjamin2018-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is older but very cute, clean, affordable, and comes fully equipped. Only Confusion was figuring out how to get a taxi- my advice for that is walk to the poopdeck (restaurant) and there is always a taxi waiting. Easy breezy. Overall the place was perfect for us and we had such an amazing time and can’t wait to go back sometime in the future.

Merci beaucoup on reviendra !

  • Daniel is an amazing host. He went out of his way to make sure we were settled in nicely and checked in on us several times during our stay to ensure everything was fine. His cottage is amazingly close to a magnificent beach which felt private - we rarely met other people. Around the cottage, there is also a nice French restaurant at a walking distance (about 5 minutes), and if you're up for a good walk, there is a pub, a marina, 2 resorts and a liquor store about 15-20 minutes away (on foot). Otherwise, a car would be needed to get around. The cottage, in our opinion, needs a bit of love. The kitchen lacks some of the basic tools such as a cutting board, knives and spatulas. The bugs somehow find ways to get in although we were very careful with the door (perhaps it's a general Bahamian problem), and the hot water was unreliable. Other than that, what you see in the pictures is what you get - no surprises. It's a good value. A/C works great, you have a little terrasse where you can take your coffee in the morning, with chairs you can bring to the beach which is a good plus. It's a quiet neighbourhood and people are very nice. Overall, we had a great time.

  • There was a slight bug issue but it was manageable by being proactive with the bug spray. Daniel was very accommodating and didn't hesitate to drop by if we had questions about anything. The location was decent, being close to a liquor store, restaurant, a fairly private beach. Daniel was kind enough to provide transportation to the grocery store our first day. If you are staying longer than 4 days or so you are going to want a rental car for at least 1-2 days most likely so you can do your own sightseeing on the days you do not have any tours booked.

  • The apartment was not in Georg Town but we had a beach, which we had nearly on our own. Daniel has driven us to the places we wanted to see and gave us a lot of advices and food. Thank you for everything. You made our stay special!

~Three minute walk to Banana Beach~A gated private paved drive off The Queen's Highway takes you to Sand Dollar Cottage nestled on 1 acre lot. Ideal mid Island location, wonderful Caretakers to greet you and offer vehicle rental. A three minute walk down the hill has your toes in the the pink sands of Banana Beach. 12 minute walk takes you to Pascal's Bistro w infinity pool, good refreshments, lunches, dinner and live entertainment (WIFI avail here also).
Sand Dollar offers all essentials for a comfortable, carefree stay. Kitchen is equipped with microwave, drip coffee maker, gas stove. All basic cook/serving ware, place settings and cutlery and basic seasonings and spices. Beautiful fresh linens and towels, and towels for the beach are all here! Hammocks swing chairs on the veranda to laze about and read in, or even better...have a snooze! Visitors welcome, no additional overnight guests please.
Ideal central location on th Island of Eleuthera. Perfect for day trips to the North where you will explore then famous Preacher's Cave where the Eleutheran Adventures settled after being shipwrecked. You will want to walk this beach over and over, I have seen dolphins on nearly ever visit here, esp if they have a boat to follow. Or take the short water taxi over to Harbour Island and see why many celebs have chosen the charm and laise faire ambience for their residences. There are so many places to explore on what looks like a little spit of an Island. Almost every road will lead to to an amazing beach! The South of the Island' tip has LightHouse Point, another place steeped in history. Along the way there are blue holes to visit, fishing settlements such as Tarpum Bay where around 3-5pm the catch of the day will offer lobsters the size on a man's 11 shoe, or grouper the size of a Volkswagon! Don't worry, you can buy it by the pound! Escape to Eleuthera!
  • Lovely little cottage far off the main path. Great for relaxation and getting away from a busy life. The host and caretakers are delightful and very helpful. The beach is within a few minutes walk. If you are looking for a remote destination where the people are kind, the beaches are beautiful and empty, and life is simple...this is the perfect place to go.

  • Great bungalow short walk from the beach on Atlantic side. Very clean and secluded, no other properties visible from the wraparound veranda. We stayed for a week and had no complaints. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

  • Our stay in Sand Dollar Cottage was fabulous. Even before our visit Rachel was very helpful in arranging a car rental and orienting us to the island so that when we did arrive we knew what to expect. The cottage is just as described and perfectly comfortable for a couple. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking most of our meals at home. The house sits on a private drive, a perfect getaway and only a 5 minute walk to one of the most beautiful "private" beaches we've ever seen. Rachel and her caretakers Barry and Chad were readily available during our stay and especially helpful when the power went out on the whole island during a enormous rain storm. Friend's of Rachel's were friendly and welcoming as well. We truly felt welcomed and at home on the island. I would encourage renting a car (if staying anywhere on Eleuthera) so you can easily get to town and explore the island. Pineapple Air and Bahamas Air both have easy and cheap flights to nearby Governor's Harbor. Arrange a car rental ahead of time and they will meet you at the airport. From the house you can walk to the beach or a nearby resort for food and drinks, but getting to town for groceries is a few miles. Don't miss the Friday night Fish Fry in town. We simply loved Eleuthera and the cottage and look forward to returning!

  • My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the sand dollar cottage. The house was very clean and in terrific condition. We had some initial trouble with the water in the bathroom but we let the owner know and it was immediately taken care of. Just a few minutes walk to an absolutely gorgeous and mostly deserted beach. During the entire week we were there I only saw two cars drive down the road. If you want quiet and seclusion sand dollar cottage is the place for it. The cottage was surrounded by trees and brush and there were loads of migratory warblers surrounding us. We also saved a lot of money by buying groceries and cooking for ourselves in the big open kitchen. We made the walk to Pascals resort just down the road to avail ourselves of their internet and to have drinks around the amazing pool bar. We greatly enjoyed our stay at sand dollar cottage and it was my first time using air bnb. It was one of my most relaxing vacations in a long time.

  • one would think an owner would want people to have a good experience with their rental, and have the best vacay ever. be warned. NOT here. and not rachel. in fact there is something very off about her ad listing, her communications and this place. one main issue is that there is NO AIR whatsover inside the cottage. yes, it states no AC, but does not accurately describe the TRUE situation of this hot-hell-house. the fabulous john gator [not the caretaker] the car rental guy, tried to help figure out how to get any kind of air in there. even he said it wasn’t possible as the place is located in a small dip or ‘valley’ so there is no air circulating, no cross winds through the trees & bushes, no cooling off ever. even with the fans. he also couldn’t understand the place being rented without AC. what i find insidious, is rachel insists on putting all the onus for these issues listed, on myself. the reality of it is there would be no way of me knowing how much of a lack of air there would be in this rental unit at that location. that is the real estate agents or owners job. to be truthful about the advertising and listing of one's place. it is not enough to just have the word AC crossed out on the amenities list on your page, [which is as far of a description of the place went with regards to the air circulation [or lack thereof] in the unit. i mean, it was truly is uninhabitable. we arrived in the afternoon of july 27th, and left less than 24 hours later. this listing describes it as unsuitable for dogs, so why on earth would she let a dog stay there? whenever anyone says they don't want dogs, it is understood that is because they don't want the floors scratched, any mis-behaviours inside the home, furniture chewed/jumped on/soiled or have allergies. she never said it was due to the lack of air & dangerous heat inside. in fact, she made it very clear that it was OK for me to bring my dog after i asked and mentioned that i bring covers for all the furniture, and that he is canine good citizen [CGC] and a well-trained service dog. it was so hot in there, my dog overheated. he paced & panted all night looking for cool spots to sleep. i was drenched in sweat as well. i was extremely worried about him & had to take him to the only vet on the entire island all the way in rock sound next morning. even the vet told me not to go back. other points from her listing that are not as it was in my experience: “Please have a new bottle of water...” there was a half full bottle. “wonderful Caretakers to greet you and offer vehicle rental”. no caretaker. and no vehicle offered that day. the extent of john’s duties...

close to Rainbow bay beach. across the street from the Carribean Sea, only a half mile walk to the Atlantic ocean waves, snorkeling on coral reefs. There is access to everything close by, but the place is simple and rugged. It is made of plywood and two by fours. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, kidsbig groups, and furry friends (pets). it's for adventurers, not royalty. if you can handle simple and rugged, welcome to vagabond house.
The place is built in the fashion of a simple fishing lodge. Is made for people who are comfortable with each other, and don't require huge amounts of privacy. Is made to be economical simple durable and easy. it was named after a poem by Don Blanding called "vagabonds house." Look up the poem if you would like to get a feel for the vibe of the place. It's a great poem anyway. :)
The vagabond house is located on a hill overlooking rainbow bay. This higher up off the water than most and offers an excellent view, but is literally across the street from the ocean. Just a short walk from the beach. Waters there are calm, blue, and crystal-clear. great for fishing and snorkeling. and If you turn and walk behind the property to the other side of the island, you are very quickly arriving at the Atlantic ocean with bigger waves coral reefs and complete privacy.
  • The space was simple, with basic essentials. The kitchen had a small fridge, as well as a microwave and hot plate. The location was good, with a beach nearby and not too far from the nearby town. I really liked the rustic feel.

  • Was pretty disappointed with this place. Mainly booked it because it was one of the cheapest options on the island and they had a sane cancellation policy (as opposed to most other options) - however, I don't know if it ended up being worth the money I saved. The place is super remote. Like 40 minute drive to get a sandwich remote. I imagine there's some sort of septic tank situation going on and the water in the toilet is treated with ammonia or something, which made the place reek of ammonia the whole time. There were some issues with bugs, which wasn't such a big deal but still... The internet worked well and the kitchen/living room area was pretty clean. And the people were very nice and good with communication.

See2seas was originally assembled some 30 years ago on a premium hilltop lot overlooking both the Caribbean and Atlantic Oceans. Constructed of a beautiful Brazilian hardwood, the two buildings were not completed and the current owners have now transformed it into what is essentially a brand new cottage. A large roof deck easily accessed by stairs was added to take advantage of the views. Beneath the roof deck a new screened porch connects the two buildings and adds to the outdoor living area.
Purchased by the current owners in 2015, the buildings have been transformed into what is essentially a brand new cottage which was completed in early 2017. Water, telephone and electrical lines were brought on site so all plumbing, electrical, appliances and central air conditioning are new and were installed over the course of 2015 and 2016. As of December 2017 a washer/dryer is being shipped and a local cell phone is on the works. The building on the Atlantic side has been transformed into two bedrooms and a roomy bathroom, while the Caribbean side has the kitchen, living spaces and a second bathroom. The two decks at the front of each building were improved so there are many places to relax and enjoy this quiet haven. The island is best suited to people who love tranquility, nature, and relaxing. We don't have casinos but we have 5-star and casual dining, fishing, snorkeling, nature hikes, and some of the best beaches in the world.
SUPPLIES - You might want to bring your favourite coffee or tea with you due to limited selection on the island. Closest store is Big Rock, just south of Rainbow Bay but it only has basics such as milk and bread. Coming from Governors Harbour there is a liquor store and grocery stores in James Cistern. East & Final is right on the road and has groceries and a liquor store. JC Supplies is in the middle of the James Cistern village, across from the dock and up the hill. Governors Harbour has somewhat larger grocery stores but very limited supplies compared to North America. Better source of supplies is Spanish Wells (via ferry) but grocery store is closed on Wednesdays
  • This home is in an awesome location , as far as being to get to the main road and travel north or south , pulling out from the road each day and seeing the magnificent sea was breathtaking . My sons loved all the stars they could see from the roof top . I would describe this as a more remote " cottage " with all the amenities you would need to be comfortable but not a luxury villa . It was simple and charming .

  • See-2-Seas was a great place, nestled on a hilltop in Rainbow Bay. The views from the sun deck were awesome, making both the Atlantic and Bight of Eleuthera visible in a 360 degree panorama. There is a screened-in deck that connects the kitchen space to the bedroom spaces, and both sides have a bathroom. The kitchen/living room space is where we spent most of our time in the evening and morning, and it is very open and easy to maneuver. There is a large couch to hang out on, cushioned wicker chairs, a large dining table, and there is air conditioning and an overhead ceiling fan. The appliances (oven, fridge, coffee maker) all seem to be brand new and were a treat to use. Water is always an issue in Eleuthera, but Peter's place came equipped with a water cooler and a filled 5-gallon jug which made things a lot simpler. It's only a short walk or brief car-ride to Rainbow Inn, an absolutely awesome place to enjoy some of the best food you can get on Eleuthera (there was also live music that night too). Peter was very helpful by email, and sent all the necessary info my way even after we booked pretty last minute. The place is simple, yet well furnished with all the amenities you would need, and is a great jumping off point to many destinations like Surfer's Beach and Gregory Town, the Hatchet Bay Caves, Queen's Baths, and the Glass-Window Bridge. We would definitely stay here again!

  • See 2 Seas was a perfect weekend getaway. It is in a great location on the island and we were able to explore during the days while returning to the house at night. Peter was an excellent host and his communication leading up to the stay was excellent. Due to bad weather the roads on the island had been damaged and he passed all of this information on prior to us arriving and was very helpful with keeping us updated. The house is well equipped with everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is well stocked in terms of appliances and everything was in good condition! I would highly recommend staying here!
