Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

We are located in the quiet, rural area of the Rusland Valley within driving distance of all scenic areas including Grizedale, Coniston, Ambleside & Windermere, and are surrounded by fields and woodland providing a fantastic location for cycling and walking holidays.

Please note the location is REMOTE, no shops are near (25 min drive to Co-op in Hawkshead), but there is a pub 5 min drive away in Satterthwaite. You are not far from Grizedale Centre, Coniston or Windermere.

The Farmhouse is a characterful, white washed 17th century farmhouse set in a secluded 1.2 acres of woodland with private lake access (shared with two other cottages) leading to the beautiful waters of lake Coniston. Situated in an enviable spot, the cottage is an ideal place for couples, families or small groups, to come and unwind in the peaceful surroundings and explore the Lakes by foot, bike or boat.
