Parliament Place is a charming country brick structure built in the early 1950's. It is intended to be a quiet retreat from the hustle & bustle of city life where one can stay secluded, watch movies on the large screen TV , connect your computer or take a walk. We call this rural acreage the highway house. It's located in the country with ample parking available. It also is wonderfully accessible to numerous hunting locales for hunters. It's within 10 miles to the Kirwin Wildlife Refuge, and there's great hunting opportunities for deer, pheasant, and other wildlife nearby. The house is located directly off highway 36, so the roads are always accessible. Large flat screen tv with ROKU, and Wifi are provided. Several recliners in living room area.

Enjoy your visit to the Midwest's Smoky Hills when you stay in this unique tiny cottage dating back to the 1950's. Many locals stopped during the renovation to tell me their stories of living here. The interior has changed very little. The bed is a traditional double. The couch extends to a twin bed if the full bed is too cozy for two. The kitchen and bath areas are small. The kitchen sink doubles as bathroom sink. The screened porch with fireplace is enjoyable weather permitting.
