Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. This recently renovated barn is in a country setting a mile from Orton village in the Westmorland Dales bordering the Lake District National park. Approx 5 minutes from J38 &39 of M6, in easy reach of Orton village’s amenities of pub, cafe, shop, chocolate factory and local farm shop. Ideal as base a for exploring the local area or a stopover en-route to & from the north. Dogs welcome with enclosed garden and walks from the doorstep. Barn annexe La’L Skaithe

2 miles from Kirby Stephen, annexe to the main house with own entrance and use of garden in front of the property, outdoor seating. Own front door and a small porch area . We welcome dogs to stay. Bathroom with step into the large shower and non slip mat available , a living and kitchen area with a comfy sofa, table and chairs and a cooker and hob ( no cooker extractor) microwave and fridge. A door leads off the living and kitchen area to a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe.

Chapel Cottage is situated in the charming village of Winton, in Cumbria's stunning and peaceful Eden Valley. Winton is a traditional farming village with a lovely village green and great pub. It is situated 1.5 miles from the market town of Kirkby Stephen, where you will find numerous independent shops, cafes pubs and restaurants. Surrounded by the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North Pennines AONB, there are many walks locally and further afield. Dogs Welcome.

The Mill, Rutter Falls,

Comfortable converted watermill sleeping one or two couples, overlooking a spectacular waterfall, in the tranquil Eden Valley, between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements! Smardale Mill Shepods “ The Elm”

Escape, relax and unwind at smardale mill Shepods. This holiday accommodation is a mixture between a shepherds hut and a glamping pod but more luxurious! Each shepod sleep two guests with the option of two further guests ( ideally children) on the sofa bed. Towels and beddings are supplied for two guests, however we ask that the two extra guests supply their own bedding. Each shepod has under floor heating which makes the perfect get away all year round!
