Second year in a row here. Absolutely beautiful place. Always love our stay! We come back for the view but the hosts are amazing. Quick to respond, extremely helpful, very accommodating. Clean bathroom. Nice shower spot. Will definitely be back.

I’ve stayed with Lisa and Ruth a few times now. It is charming from the moment you walk in the door. It feels like everything in their home tells a story. Very artistic and purposeful. Not often do you find a place that mirrors intentional living, but their home does. It’s a breath of fresh air in a very distracted world. They are wonderful to chat with and overall, great host (Duke, too!) I will definitely continue to stay every time I am in the area.

Wow! What a lovely place. The pictures do not begin to do it justice. We had such a lovely great tame plying ping pong and pool, very badly, and kayaking in the lake. Ok, the piano could use a bit of tuning 😂, but we all absolutely loved the house. Juan was super responsive and nice, letting us check in early and out late. I would absolutely rent this place again!

I would absolutely stay with Lisa and Ruth again. They are friendly and welcoming. Lisa gave me several recommendations for local places to eat. The room and accommodations are well furnished. The bed is comfortable. I loved the overhead reading light. I want one for my home now. They gave me access to a guest fridge which was incredibly helpful in keeping my food fresh since I was on a solo road trip. There were so many wonderful touches such as the blackout curtains, access to tea, and a personal water bottle which could be refilled in the kitchen. I highly recommend staying with them!

Wow! My wife and I were gobsmacked by how amazing this place was. The pictures did not do it justice. Was this way too much house for two people? You bet! And we loved every minute. The walkout basement with hot tub, sauna, arcade games and a lounge area that leads to a pond is a great place to hang out. There are plenty of rooms, many of them "mini suites" with attached sub-bedrooms and even an occasional sub-sub-bedroom. The surroundings are private and beautiful, the house was immaculate, the solarium is a lovely place to spend some time. There's a great deck (plus another one), lovely views, plenty of wildlife (including a wild turkey!) and the surrounding area is absolutely wonderful if you're into outdoor activities. The birding here is wonderful, with an incredible amount of long-legged birds, Wood Ducks, Mergansers, Kingfishers, and more just a few miles down the road, close to the river(s). We never realized how beautiful the Godfrey/Grafton area is - we'll be back!

We LOVED everything about our stay at Anjie’s Hideaway. First the location was perfect. We were in the Historic Soulard neighborhood which was centrally located to everything! It took about 10 minutes to get to the zoo, Union Station, and the Arch which our kids really enjoyed. It was also within walking distance to amazing restaurants! Anjie recommended Mollys which we walked to and it was delicious with a great atmosphere. We also ate at Sessions Taco and headed to the Soulard Farmers Market! The Airbnb itself was perfect. So cute and CLEAN! We loved the extra touches of fresh croissants upon our arrival and little breakfast treats. We also enjoyed their gorgeous back patio with a hammock and comfortable egg chair to enjoy to the weather. Anjie and Michael were very quick to respond to any questions we had and we can’t wait to come back!! Definitely 5 stars!
