Calling all explorers, dreamers and creatives! Come for a quick retreat or stay to write that book. The lookout was built by owner Rob himself over ten years. There is thought and love behind every little detail. The house isn't perfect, there is raw wood, some things aren't finished, the furniture is vintage and may appear worn but if you look past that, you will find that everything there has its own story and that this house is made for the big things: sunrises, ocean dreaming and full-moons

With no shortage of activities from a round of golf at the Clovelly Golf Course, spying on the penguins residing at Boulder’s Beach as they go about their business to catching a wave at Muizenberg surfer’s corner. You are perfectly located to take advantage of all the Southern Penisula has to offer.

Hideaway nestled between beach and mountain

This little studio apartment is in a beautiful garden setting on the lower mountain slopes of Muizenberg. It has a bedroom, bathroom, living room and small kitchen with a one-plate conduction stove, and other essentials. The Muizenberg surfing beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. Beautiful coastal and mountain walks are easily accessible, as are local shops, restaurants and cafes. The popular Bluebird neighbourhood market is a great place to sample locally made food, beers and wine on a Friday.

Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

Walking distance to the famous Dalebrook tidal pool and Dalebrook cafe, this light and airy newly renovated apartment is the perfect place for a weekend or extended getaway. Situated in a secure complex with a pool and private parking, the apartment is fully equipped for 4 people. It has a private deck with gorgeous sea views and is walking distance to the vibrant village of Kalk Bay, with lots of restaurants and boutique-styled shops. An absolute gem on the False Bay coastline.

Our studio apartment opens up onto a 40sq meter balcony with a panoramic view of the Hout Bay Valley and the Helderberg mountains beyond. Large sliding doors disappear into the walls creating an unimpeded indoor/outdoor flow while the elevated position protects your privacy. The open plan bathroom faces onto an enclosed secret garden which includes a frame-less glass shower. The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette and is serviced daily except weekends and public holidays.

Blackwood Log Cabin

A tranquil and private mountain retreat where water, forest and mountains will re-awaken the soul. Set high on the mountain slopes of Constantia Nek, Blackwood Log Cabin has panoramic views across the lush valley to the mountains beyond. The 2 bedroomed house sleeps 4 with 2 bathrooms. Power outages are being experienced by SA - the oven/stove is gas, the hot water is gas, the internet is solar driven and we have 2 battery lights for guests use.

Sunny *solar-powered* Studio at the Stone House

The Studio at the Stone House is a self-catering cottage, just 200m from the beach. It's tucked away behind one of Muizenberg's oldest houses (dating 1901) on a quiet road in the village. The studio is light and modern, especially equipped for your comfort and convenience. It's best feature is probably the large wind-free private patio for outdoor lounging and alfresco dining. AND we're solar-powered, so you have uninterrupted access to wifi!

The Owl House - Mountainside bungalow, Muizenberg

Sleep in the trees in a unique retreat overlooking False Bay. Perched on the Muizenberg Mountain-side, the Owl House offers guests a unique garden stay with a distinct tree-house feel and is a short walk away from the buzz of Muizenberg village and its famous beachfront. The self-contained 30m2, solar-powered bungalow is separate from the main house, with a kitchenette, work and dining space, & uncapped fibre, making it perfect for WFH.

Shangri La in Misty Cliffs

Shanglira is set on 3 levels with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms ! The fourth bedroom and bathroom being a separate flatlet ! Pool decks , sunsets , barbecues etc are what you want here! Fully equipped kitchen with coffee machines washing machine tumble dryer dishwasher ! Bathrooms all have shower gels etc for you also free unlimited purified water! Pl remember we have doggie beds as well xx NO pets live on the property! But yours are welcome

The Lily @ St James - amazing view from your bed

This spacious, quirky apartment with an amazing view is on the top floor of a gracious mansion overlooking St James tidal pool. There are LOTS of steps so not suitable if you are unfit, elderly or overweight. Your own private entrance leads you into a perfectly equipped apartment. Lie in the comfortable king size bed in total privacy and spot the whales in False Bay. It is an easy walk to Muizenberg and Kalk Bay.
