The Post Office transports you to another time and place, our heritage-listed accomodation is the heart of the beautiful town of Waratah. Opposite the Waratah Waterfall, The Post Office offers views of Mount Pearce and the expansive Happy Valley, which stretches out into the Tarkine wilderness. Waratah is nestled in a wilderness-rich pocket of Tasmania's North West and is the perfect base from which to explore the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park and the ancient Tarkine wilderness.

The Red Door - 1 Bedroom Studio and Bfst

The Red Door has been freshly renovated to provide a relaxing, comfortable and private space. A fully self contained guest suite at the rear of my Victorian Cottage which is situated on the beautiful Levan River. It is only a 5 minute walk away from the centre of the town and wharf precinct. A homely breakfast is prepared for you to enjoy in the dining room. Off street parking provided. Only a twenty minute pleasant drive from The Spirit of Tasmania and just over an hour from Cradle Mountain.

Coles Beach Hideaway

Private, comfortable & spacious apartment in a garden setting. Featuring light, open lounge/dining area, queen bed, full kitchen, large bathroom with washing machine. Private undercover car/van parking space. Breakfast provisions and pod coffee machine are provided. Accessibility aspects include wide doorways, no steps and easy access shower. Coles Beach is 300m away. The Don reserve, aquatic centre, historic railway and Bluff cafe/restaurants are all within easy walking distance via pathways.

Overlooking Ulverstone's beautiful parkland to the beach. Within walking distance to shops and services. The nearby walking/bike path leads westward to the wharf precinct where you can take a Leven River tour or enjoy ‘Live at the Wharf’ at Gnomon Pavilion for an entertaining Friday evening, Pier 01 offers fine food and dining or visit the Sunday market to stock up on produce. Take the path eastward to the famous Turners Beach Berry Patch for a taste of local fruits and great coffee and wine.

We only ever have 1 booking at a time, no sharing with other families or individuals. We live on site and are happy to help, your accommodation is segregated and totally private. Roses Garden Studio is a sophisticated and very private self-contained space. Tariff includes breakfast provisions and a well equipped sideboard kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. A 10 min walk to the CBD, beachside restaurants and foreshore BBQ area. A 7 min drive to the hospital and university campus. Well located for daytrips in the region. Also a great space for laptop work (WiFi and Smart TV). Laundry by request.
