There is a double bedroom upstairs and twin bedroom on ground floor, each with their own bathroom. Open plan entertaining area with large dining table and well equipped kitchen. The Farm Bothy cottage offers luxury accommodation on a working sheep farm. It is self-contained, within a modern steading/barn conversion. We live in the other wing of the house. You can explore the farm, woodlands and our garden. Ideally located for visiting nearby castles and distilleries the area also has great cycling, golfing, fishing and horse-riding. Our local pub is a mile away. The nearest town, Alford, has a pub, restaurant, shops, supermarket, parks and museums.

Unique turret annex in Upper Donside

Roses in full bloom. Situated in the Cairngorms National Park in Strathdon, a short walk away from the hamlet of Bellabeg. The Turret offers a tranquil setting in 2.5 acres of private woodland, it has its own entrance and is a self-contained totally sound insulated annex to the main house (where the owners live). The setting has spectacular south facing views of the Deeside hills and is surrounded by farmland and wildlife. Completely off the beaten track with glorious dark skies.
