A wonderful place to enjoy the view, beaches, amenities and the company you're with. Lots of space inside the suite. The furniture was comfortable and well cared for. No indication that a pet had previously been there, as sometimes that can be the case. Vast supply of cooking materials, extra blankets, pillows and linens. Beds were very comfortable as well. Would 100% recommend booking here, and also with John.

Absolutely a gem. Leia was very responsive and clear about all instructions. Highly recommend this place for a couple looking to rest up!

Travis’ place was perfect for our family’s three nights stay on the Island. He had the single mattress and the pack and play set up for my kids before we arrived. The set up is perfect for a multi generation family trip. We got to really enjoy the amenities such as the pool and the pickle ball court. Would definitely consider renting again here!

Home away from Home, is how I would describe this. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were not only welcomed there but that we could feasibly own this place. We stayed a total of 5 nights, and were began to feel sad after the 4th night, knowing we would have to leave. Being literal steps from the ocean made for beautiful sunsets and serene mornings. The area is fairly well protected from winds as we were facing a North-West direction. The indoor pool, hot tub, gym and games room are all within a quick 3-minute walk. The indoor pool is very large with a large shallow area for the kiddo's. Indoor pool has a Dry Sauna as well. The hosts, Kimberly and John, are very communicative. There is a provided binder with local amenities and Places of Interest. We took their suggestions and had a wonderful time getting to know the area! All-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We have officially decided that we will be making Vancouver Island our yearly destination.

Space matched the photos well. Beautiful location, well appointed space with all the basics covered. We didn’t end up doing any cooking but the kitchen looked like it had everything you’d need to eat in. Conveniently located very close to the elevator, so easy to move in and out.

John’s place was fantastic. Easy check-in and quick to answer any questions. My wife and I really appreciated the size of the condo and all the amenities. The fireplaces, jetted tub, comfortable king bed, well equipped kitchen and beautiful patio. We took advantage of the on-site amenities including the gym, pool, outdoor hot tub, trails and restaurant. Our stay was awesome and John made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this gem of a condo in beautiful Nanoose Bay.

Beautiful location, fantastic views. So easy to walk out right to the beach. Great kitchen space- had all the supplies needed to cook for ourselves and we appreciated the stocked extras (oils , spices, coffee, etc). Looked exactly like the photos- it was a great space for a weekend away for our small family!

Our family loved the spacious, bright two bedroom layout! The furnishings are beautiful, and the beds are super comfy. The kitchen was well stocked and the water views from the balconies were a wonderful bonus. The amenities are fantastic, the restaurant is conveniently close, and the pool, gym, and sauna are great additions. The outdoor hot tub feels like a natural hot spring & the 12ac beach front resort allowed for coastal exploration. Tannis was a great host & very friendly. We’ll hope to stay here again in the future.

Beautiful and spacious condo in an amazing resort. This place has it all: ocean views, lots of room to spread out, comfy beds, all the basics: oil/spices/laundry, etc. Lilian has made it extremely comfortable and my family instantly felt at home. The resort itself is perfect for families: a pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, playground, beach, walking trails all on site. Parksville is a 10 min. drive, so very accessible. We stayed here a month and didn’t want to leave! Lilian was a fabulous host: accommodating our need to store a bike, and answering all questions promptly. I wish we could return here every year! 10/10

Randy and Barb’s home was absolutely perfect. The condo is beautifully decorated and it’s even more lovely than the photos. The view is unmatched. We watched the tide come in and out each day. The peaceful water views are a dream. We usually visit Florida each year and this year we wanted to stay in Canada. My family had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to come back. Our three year old loved the playground and the kids hot tub that had a slide! Endless fun. The resort has a delicious restaurant, a spa, trails and kayaks. Everyone was so friendly. Thank you Randy and Barb!

We loved this location so much we came back! It’s a thoughtful property with thoughtful hosts, beautiful views, and a single home feel.

We stayed at Dawn's Nest Feb 17 to March 17 2025. The location in Nanoose Bay was ideal for us as we like to tour. We went south to Victoria, north to Comox, west to Port Alberni and Tofino. The view from the 4th floor was amazing especially at high tide when it came right up the creek by the building. Sheltered parking, elevator, sauna, two hot tubs, large pool, beautiful walking trails along the shore etc made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. It was our first time renting on the island. We are sure we lucked out and got one of the best the first time. We would definitely stay here again. Thankyou Dawn and John for helping to make our holiday a great one holiday. Don and Peggy.

Marvin and Mya's place was absolutely beautiful! Steps from the beach with plenty of amenities. The home was very baby friendly with available high chair, cutlery, pak and play, toys and blackout curtains which made the transition so smooth for our baby. Marvin was very proactive and communicated instructions extremely clearly to make check in and check out a seamless process. My family and I would definitely come back! Thank you so much!

This is a beautiful property and provides great value for Gibsons. The sauna is an added plus. It is located between Bonniebrook Beach (one of the best on the coast) and the key grocery/shopping area in Gibsons. It is private without being remote. Marken was the epitome of a great host and utterly supportive of us on this trip. Can’t say enough good things about her and this property. I think this space would be ideal for two couples with a kiddo or a family with two kids. Lots of rooms and space for a great price in Gibsons. Sunshine Coast is a gem and this place is at the top of my list. You have to go to Bonniebrook. We saw the biggest pod of Orcas ever (15-25) down at the beach having a fire watching the sunset. It is 5 mins from home!

We had an amazing time at Christina’s on Bowen! The view is spectacular and it had everything we needed - bbq, condiments, even thoughtful touches like dog bed, towel, blanket and bowls. We want to come back! Thanks again for the crab also!

Our group had an incredible time. The space was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The patio during sunny days and the sauna were highlights. We didn't regret the SUV rental add-on. Would 100% stay again.

Ash’s place was the most well furnished Air BnB I have stayed in. I wanted to move in permanently. It was much bigger than it looked in the listing. The Sauna was incredible and the hot tub was perfect. Just the right temp and not too much chemicals. We had a magical time! Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful space.

Tims place was beautiful! Such a nice weekend with the baby and extended family. We were able to have a campfire outback and a sauna to warm up - the place had everything we needed!
