We enjoyed our stay so much. What a comfortable home for our family vacation in the area. Karen was welcoming and we were so appreciative of the fresh baked goods. Everything was set for our stay with enough linens for everyone. We ran into Karen a couple of times during our stay and always was delightful and open to help with any suggestions. We found the town quaint and what we needed from a bookstore to places to eat. Nice quick walk to the water for sunsets. Easy drive into Boston as well as up to Rockport and Gloucester. We even found it smooth to attend the 250 of Lexington and Concord. We loved our days starting with coffee and quiet comfort and relaxing in the evening around the table with our family for some games. Highly recommend this home! Thankful for our hosts!

We had a great time, the house was very clean and comfortable. It has beautiful views, and a nice park across the street. It is a quick drive to downtown Salem, which was nice. We definitely recommend staying here!

Our first trip to the Boston area couldn’t have been better! This Airbnb was absolutely perfect for our family of four. The bedroom I stayed in had its own balcony with a beautiful ocean view—ideal for peaceful summer mornings or warm, relaxing nights. The open-concept living room and kitchen gave us plenty of space to unwind after a day of exploring. But what really sets this place apart are two unbeatable features: first, you won’t find easier access to public transportation—there’s a bus stop just a 30-second walk away that takes you right into Boston. Second, the hosts, Milan and Anna, were some of the kindest and most helpful we’ve ever met. Their local tips made our stay even better. Great amenities, smartTV, updated shower, dishwasher, laundry, grill available to use, etc. Right next to the house is a beautiful walkway that stretches down the beachfront of Winthrop. We’re already talking about coming back as the Boston area is second to none!

This place is a perfect Nahant beach get-away. We were there for a wedding over the weekend, and were so lucky to find Elyse's place! Elyse is a wonderful host, and she communicated everything in such a detailed manner that finding the place/checking in was a breeze. It poured rain all weekend, but the cozy, clean unit that is decorated beautifully and is so conveniently located to everything made us feel at home. The unit has everything you need - even a lovely deck overlooking Boston Harbor. Elyse was gracious enough to offer to turn on the hot tub for us while we were arriving, and she had great local recommendations. While we did not get to use the hot tub or go to the beach because of the rain, we hope to return and take full advantage of how special this place is again!

This was a perfect location for a long weekend getaway! Proximity to public transportation makes this place an awesome option for Boston travels, the ocean is absolutely gorgeous! I ran the Boston marathon on my visit and the hot tub was incredible for recovery! The bed is so comfortable and even though we didn’t cook anything, we easily could have! Having a washer and dryer in the unit available meant that I don’t have piles of laundry to do when I get home!

Stayed with a friend in April and it was perfect for our needs. We had a comfy room each and pleasant living space and patio. Bathroom was small but it didn’t matter. Shops and cafes and harbor all very close walk away. There’s a good place on Tuna Wharf to hire ebikes and kayaks to get around, too. No need for a car really. We arrived on the train to Rockport - station is about 15 mins walk away and there’s a good grocery store next to the station.

Gabriela's beach house was so beautiful and the views were unbelievable! Right on the beach and the house had plenty of space for my family and I. She was very responsive as well! I would definitely stay again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alex's place and highly recommend it! - Spacious, clean, well-maintained 2nd floor unit. Appreciated the balconies with view of water, bonus room with workspace, daybed and cozy electric fireplace, new full bath with nice washer/dryer, large TV, and plenty of parking for 2+ vehicles. - Family & pet friendly. - Safe, pleasant neighborhood with a local feel. Close to the beach sidewalk that stretched for miles from Winthrop Beach to Deer Island–great for scenic walks, scootering, dog walking, and beach combing. Playgrounds, parks and restaurants within walking distance. - Minor notes: Located near the airport flyover route, although we weren't bothered by the air traffic noise–it was more like the sound of the waves that came and went. We never heard the 1st floor guests and had separate entrances. - Excellent communication with the host.

Another amazing stay at Salty Girl! Erin’s home is spotless and calm and inviting. There were so many small touches to make a family’s stay easy like a toy drawer, step stool in the bathroom, and stuffed animals for the kids in the bunk room! Truly so thoughtful. The location couldn’t be better with an easy walk to the bay and beach. Really peaceful surroundings. Thank you! We can’t wait to return!!!

This was the PERFECT place for my family’s girls trip to Salem. It was only a 12 minute drive into town. The house is breathtaking!!! The pictures do not do it any justice. Everything is spotless and very welcoming. The private beach is a 3 minute walk up the road. The neighborhood is very peaceful and the neighbors were also very friendly. Tracy was an amazing host!!! 10/10 recommendation.

We had a great weekend in Boston with friends. The house was convenient to T and made it easy to get downtown. Plenty of sleeping space for our group of 7. Thank you for the coffee set up and the bottled water

Great location, peaceful, quiet and safe. We had short family vacation there and everyone was accommodated and we have great time. Jerry gave us recommendations for local restaurants with excellent seafood. Totally recommended

Kim was very responsive. I was not able to see the August lock link to get in, but she was able to assist with that. We had an issue with the heat the first night and she got right on getting a plumber and had space heaters in the unit to get us through the first night. She also refunded some money for that first night's troubles, which was really appreciated. Easy walk to the beach and we got lucky and had a decent day in March to walk it a little. Thanks for sharing your space.

A beautiful place in a quiet spot with comfortable beds and enough space for a larger family. Amazing location with the beach steps away. Would stay again!

Great studio in fantastic location walkable to downtown and old town plus easy parking. Rachel was very flexible and responsive. Great amenities and really appreciated firm comfortable bed. Will definitely stay again.

Christina's property was a wonderful place to escape to for a few days! It is the perfect size for 1-2 people, has everything you need, and the view is unbeatable. The parking space is incredibly convenient and the location of the property provides easy access to the rest of Bearskin Neck and Rockport proper. I hope to stay here again in the future!

What a find! I came to Kristen's because some plans fell through last minute. Having never heard of Marblehead but keen to visit somewhere by the sea and easily accessible from Boston, wow did I get a pleasant surprise. It is absolutely beautiful there, I had to pinch myself - it was like living in a film! The apartment was absolutely perfect. I'd been staying somewhere a bit grubby and disorganised beforehand and Kristen's place was absolutely sparkling clean, I felt incredibly welcome and cared for right away. Furthermore, checking in early with my monstrous suitcase was no problem at all and the apartment is generously stocked with coffee, tea, snacks, a bottle of wine, cold drinks, a folder of local recommendations, comfortable, quality furnishings and linens, great lighting and more. This is what true hosting is all about if you ask me - making your guests feel as comfortable and welcome as possible and Kristen most certainly does this in spades.

5 STAR+ rental. We loved this rental. It is exactly what we look for in rental space. Clean, updated (while retaining character), close to all sorts of activities and historical sites, washer/dryer, quiet, off street parking. Solid wood floors throughout, tile floor in bathrooms. Bathrooms (2 Full) had soap, shampoo and conditioner, towels TP. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Plenty of plates, cups, glasses, pots, baking sheets, pyrex. Solid surface counters. We ran the dishwasher once in the five days we were there. Kitchen table was comfortable for eating and playing games( look in the closet). Keurig for coffee, (pods provided). Snack basket had varieties of items we ate between meals. The living space was comfortable with couch and chair, with tables nearby. Bedrooms were comfortable. Beds were comfortable. there is a desk in the twin bedroom. Instruction book filled with recommendations and local information. Owner provided cell #. Would stay again 100%. 5 STAR

Bright and cheerful modern unit with a beautifully appointed kitchen. Convenient parking right behind the house. FYI-Bus 120 picks up around the corner to go to the T station or it's a 15 minute walk to the Wood Island T blue line subway.

I pride myself on finding fantastic accomodations to match fantastic travels, and this was the best lodging location I have ever found. So special to stay right out on the peninsula/wharf amidst the charming, narrow lanes of seasonal gift shops and restaurants, with water all around us. The unit is super clean, nicely decorated, well supplied (including a basket of upscale snacks and handwritten note), and private. A peaceful little nest from which to watch the Atlantic, the beautiful town, and the harbor activities. Really hard to tear yourself away from the amazing views out every window. Water lapping the wharf will send you to a peaceful sleep. Nighttime wanders on the wharf were super quiet, gorgeous, and romantic. Catherine also very kindly offered us to stay past check out time when the opportunity arose, allowing us extra hours of fun! Recommend her suggested walk to The Headlands for photo op of the unit. It's crazy it's practically next to the famous Motif #1!
