If you’re looking for serenity, peace and quiet, you've found it, amidst a 250 acre private estate. On a lake at the end of a mile long driveway (well plowed in the winter) Is Snowshoe Cabin. Built in 1929 as the garage for "Lakefalls Lodge, it's been completed renovated into a luxurious, cozy home with modern amenities. Guests rave about "views of the snowy pond while you’re warm inside" from heated floors and a wood burning stove with free firewood. Spikes provided for wonderful winter walks.

Enjoy scenic trails for hiking at all seasons. 20 minutes from Mt Monadnock trails. Peterborough's quaint and historic downtown (5min drive) with yoga studio, restaurants, bookstore, movie theater and neighborhood grocer. Meadow View offers a 750 sq ft private suite with a king-size bed, clawfoot bathtub, and a mini kitchen. We have WiFi but no TV.

It is private to only your group! The downstairs with all it offers, is for one or two person stays. The upstairs becomes available if you enter 3 or more people. Our 1840’s renovated grist mill is located in the beautiful Monadnock Region. The house and cottage are situated on twelve acres and includes gardens, an orchard, berry bushes, grape vines, beehives, a dog, and a tremendous waterfall. We are close to many of nature’s gems including Mount Monadnock, Pack Monadnock, the Heald Tract hiking trails, skiing, snowshoeing and swimming. Also the acclaimed MacDowell Arts Center, Andy’s Summer Playhouse, Andres Institute of Art and the Waldorf Schools.

The history of this “little red shed” is as storied as New Ipswich herself. Built in 1804, she was a law office, a post office, then a tiny cigar store. Leave your car and walk to amazing restaurants, a healthy food market, a wonderful bookstore, antique shops, a movie theater, clothing stores, historic buildings, a beautiful new library, fun walkways along the river or drive to the many wonderful outings in the Monadnock region.
