Pretty hiking (but also very popular). Parking situation has changed at this location, with parking at distance from the trail. May require walking on road with limited visibility to get there. Not recommended with kids. Pequea Pinnacle is nearby and probably a better choice with kids.

One of the most famous hikes in Lancaster. It's an easy/moderate out-and-back hike along a picturesque stream that empties into the Susquehanna River. There are plenty of places to stop for pictures along the way. Additionally, it's part of a larger trail network (check the AllTrails app to see more!)

Several different hiking trails that are moderate in difficulty (great for families and even young children), and gorgeous scenery. This will take you to overlook the Susquehanna River if you want to go that far.

Such a cool walk that I’m probably not supposed to tell you about it. But it’s not easy to get there so you might never find it anyway. About a 2 mile beautifully wooded walk along/in/out/through a meandering creek leading out to the shoreline of the Susquehanna River. Your feet will get wet. Dog friendly.

Lancaster has dozens of hiking trails and area but this is one of my favorites!
