Cedar House - Studio Guest House

Welcome to The Cedar House, a studio guest house detached from our main house. You will have separate entrance, private bathroom. Wood floors and ceilings and the woods you see through the windows give it the feeling of a cabin. The queen bed is in the loft and you must be able to use the stairs to get to it! There is a queen sleeper sofa on the main level for more sleeping. Upon request, 4 additional single air mattresses and bedding are available. Space is available for a baby pack-n-play.

Woodpecker Glen is a brand-new guest house in one of Washington's temperate rain forests. The house has a cabin feel with cathedral ceiling and open floor plan plus lots of natural light in a peaceful, quiet location. The back yard is Tolt MacDonald Park, 574 acres, a favorite for mountain bikers and trail walkers alike. All of this and still less than 11 miles to Redmond (think Microsoft), 26 miles to Seattle downtown. Winter skiing and summer alpine hiking are only 20 to 50 miles away.

You'll find destination Mountain Bike trails just up the road, excellent restaurants a quick drive away, and Ames Lake, one of King County's most pristine, just down the stairs. No smoking. The Karate Garage is a peaceful retreat, 6 miles from the heart of Redmond. The studio is in a detached garage that overlooks beautiful sunrises, the barn, pastures & the occasional deer stopping by to say "Hi". To ensure a warm & inviting stay, we've stocked up with good coffee, flannel sheets & lots of pillows & blankets. Cozy up by the fireplace & enjoy quiet, dark nights, perfect for listening to the neighborhood owls. Our hope is that you leave feeling rested and refreshed.

We are about a 30 second drive to hop onto the Snoqualmie Valley Trail for a bike ride, walk thru nature or bird watching. This one-bedroom, fully equipped home is located on five wooded acres, across the driveway from the host's primary residence. In the past, the home was used by my in-laws. The location is very quiet with an on-site hiking trail through majestic evergreen trees. We are within a mile of shopping and dining facilities. We are within a half hour drive of Seattle and Everett, Washington.
