1811 Cottage at Sunflower Farm

The 1811 Cottage is as unique as the 120 acre farm it sits on with it's wide heart pine plank walls, ceilings, floors, and the duel fireplaces. This historic settler's home features a living room, master bedroom on the main floor, and a huge sleeping loft, making it comfortable and cozy for one to six guests. Modern additions include a large bathroom with claw foot tub and shower and a nicely equipped, yet tiny kitchenette. The front porch is a great spot for that early morning cup of coffee!

Greek Revival Farmhouse

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Pierce Farmhouse was built in 1870 as a wedding gift for a son. We have owned it for 20 years and have made another set of renovations to bring it back to its original charm and character while making it more comfortable with modern amenities. The farmhouse sits on 60 wooded acres in High Shoals and guests have access to our pond for fishing and river for canoeing. We are 20 minutes from Athens, and 15 minutes from Monroe and Madison.

Just a short drive from Athens or Augusta if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay after a game or making your way to the Master’s tournament.

Fully stocked kitchen and all of the supplies you need! 1200 sq ft of space; 2 Queen BR’s, 2 sitting areas, pullout couch, 2 couches, leather recliner, 2 decks, grill, fire pit, kayak, floats, swimmable cove and tree swing! Fast Wifi. SmartTV. Private woods and dock to explore! Great land and lake location. Fantastic view! Swim out “beach” on a clean cove. Marina around corner. Quiet lakefront property, private, but minutes to everything!

The Nest, Charming Country Setting south of Athens

This guest suite is located above the detached three car garage across from the main house. Beautiful views of the countryside, including horses and chickens! Sanford Stadium and beautiful downtown Athens are just 14 miles north of us (a 22 minute drive). Historic Madison is 19 miles to the south of us. You are welcome to fish or kayak on our pond as well.
