The Deerling is even more beautiful than the pictures show! One of the cleanest cabins I’ve ever stayed in, and we loved the private and peaceful location. We spent our mornings on the back patio sipping coffee and watching the cows in the field across the way, and we ended our days with a fire in the fire pit and star gazing! Our dogs loved playing fetch and going for long walks all around this beautiful property. I definitely would recommend this cabin and hope to stay again in the future.

We absolutely love this cabin and stay here every winter for a fun and cozy getaway weekend. Although there is a lot to do in the area, this time, we chose to stay in and enjoy the fireplace and watching the snow fall and the river flowing past. It was so peaceful and relaxing-just what we needed! The cabin is well-equipped with everything we needed-washer and dryer, firewood, and a very well-stocked kitchen. We've already made our reservation to return next year!!

This was our 2nd time staying here and it’s the perfect spot to be close to our son who goes to school & plays baseball on campus. Cute home, cozy, nice kitchen, & well equipped!

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. It was such a peaceful and relaxing place. We enjoyed the hot tub and the views. Our dog loved it as well. I would absolutely come back again and stay. Cheryl was such a great host, always responsive. The Airbnb was so cute and looked exactly like the pictures. I highly recommend!

I loved Shelley's cabin. It was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable (including the pillows!), though we didn't use it I was impressed with the firewood being on the front porch with the ability to send payment by phone to pay for it as that is something that can always be frustrating to go and get when traveling sometimes. The hot tub was hot and relaxing although it was missing all the headrests haha. We took a tour of Trans Alleghany Lunatic Asylum on this trip but would consider coming back just to stay at this cabin for a weekend getaway! Thanks so much for everything!
