Our stay at Smith Cottage was quiet and peaceful. The home was bright and clean. We loved having the options of board games, foosball, cornhole and the hot tub to keep us entertained. The deck was a great gathering space with umbrellas for shade but plenty of sun hitting it for warmth! The gazebo was another favorite for night time gatherings. Colleen and Leo were responsive to our needs and all was as described in the listing. Everything was explained in the house guide, and if we had questions, they never made us feel like we were bothering them. They even recommended local attractions ahead of time so I could book a fishing tour. Definitely happy with our experience on the water using Burnt Meadow Guide Service. Also, being just down the road, Jordan's store made it easy if we forgot anything or needed fishing licenses. We look forward to booking again!

Beautiful house on the pond! Perfect for our family of 4. It was comfortable and relaxing. Amy is a wonderful host! She checked in and made sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay! Hoping to stay again sometime.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, comfortable, and peaceful home—perfect for our family of five! The space was quiet, private, and truly felt like a home away from home. It's in a beautiful location right by Lake Province, and we had almost everything we needed for our 3-night Easter weekend stay. Our older children attend UNH, and this was the perfect spot for us all to be together, relax, play games, and enjoy quality family time. We love to cook, and the brand new kitchen was gorgeous and a joy to use—we prepared three amazing meals together! Just a heads-up for fellow cooks: the kitchen is stocked with the basics, so if you're planning more elaborate meals, you might want to bring a few extra tools. The outdoor space was also a highlight! With beautiful weather all three days, we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the fire pit, string lights, grilling, eating al fresco, and just being together. We truly loved our stay and are already looking forward to coming back.

Beautiful views overlooking river and waterways, with all essential amenities on main level. Home has full set of utensils and pots/pans for cooking in modern and newly renovated kitchen. Beds and mattresses were comfortable. Responsive host. Highly recommend for a family vacation, especially if in the summer when weather is warmer. If I travel to Portsmouth area again, I would stay here again.

This lake house was beautiful and the view is stunning! Every room is well appointed and perfect for setting a lake vacation vibe. The house has everything you could need. The description and pics on Airbnb are thorough and completely accurate. Jenna was an awesome host - very responsive and helpful and flexible. We will definitely be back!

This place was really nice! Its on a beautiful lake with a lot to do! Jessica had plenty of kayaks, canoes, and life vests. The surrounding is beautiful and peaceful. The location is great with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. It's also very close to many great hiking areas Mt Washington.

Bob and Jo are such amazing hosts. This is our second stay at their home within 3 weeks and plan to book again. They check in to make sure the check ins go well and always ask if there is anything that is needed. Their response time is so quick and communication is very easy. Their home is amazing and we plan to book with them again.

Had a great experience staying at Laura’s place! All the listed amenities were provided, and everything was just as described. Laura was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the stay. It’s a fantastic spot to relax and have fun – highly recommended!

my partner and i stayed here to just get away from reality for a couple days! this lakeside cottage is the perfect place to do so. we couldn’t decide if we wanted to go out and about or stay right in the cabin, it was so peaceful! thank you for hosting!

The home was in a beautiful location and it was so peaceful to wake up and look out over the water. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of space for our group to hang out. The host was very accommodating and answered all our questions quickly. Highly recommend!

Perfect fall cottage so close to Portland! The cottage is so peaceful and quiet. But so close to Portland but you wouldn’t even know it. The farm is lovely and we took a walk down to the river on the property, it was so peaceful and so much land! If you are looking for a get away from a city, but want to be able to explore Portland and Kennybunks, this was the perfect spot. I don’t know if I’ve slept that good all year. Would definitely come back again. And we love Trooper the dog!

Our stay was perfect and exactly what we ordered. Secluded but still only a short 15-20 min from restaurants and stores. Helen was excellent at communicating within only minutes. For people with kids this would be perfect cause of all the bunk beds. We unfortunately didn’t use the deck much because of the weather but a night out there overlooking the water would have been so amazing so I highly recommend booking for that alone.

We had the absolute best time at MJ’s place, highly recommend !! The house is spatious yet very cozy and quiet, with a nice back porch to sit and enjoy the surrounding woods! Home is also very close to town and to Poryland/coastline, and the cleanest lake to swim in that we’ve ever been to! MJ was very helpful and quick to respond. Stay here! We hope to return sometime soon!!

Came for the Fall colors; left in love with the place! Small but delightful. Cluttered in the most fantastical way. Nestled in paradise. Bonnie is so nice and friendly! Pay attention to the fact that the toilet is not attached to house. Short walk to privet and very clean!

We had a fantastic long weekend at The Conscious Cabin! The house is incredibly well taken care of, super clean, and exactly as advertised. Cassouki did a great job of leaving instructions exactly where you needed them! The cabin was so incredibly cozy and just a short drive to North Conway Shops and anything you would want to do. Already planning our next trip there!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful stay. John and Cassie’s cabin was just as described and exactly what we were looking for. We drove up during a snow storm but the roads were plowed and well maintained. Very isolated and private but never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. Not too far from things to do but we were content enjoying the cozy relaxing home. John was quick to communicate with us if we needed anything and was very helpful.

Great stay in a nice location, perfect for a family getaway! Bedrooms are across 3 levels, so bigger groups can select rooms accordingly. Having a basement room with easy access to an outside door was perfect for the dog, and having 2 living spaces worked out well for our group with two little ones plus a dog. The weather was rainy (no surprises in April!) so we didn’t get out on the lake much, but we had plenty of space in the house to play games, make meals and entertain one another.
