The cottage is nestled between small avocado and mixed fruit orchards, with a view out to the small pond and post’n’rail fenced paddocks beyond. The Top House, so named because of its location, with 270 degree views, has unrivalled privacy, and it's own helipad. This recently renovated 3 bedroom house is located on 330 acres of private farmland. The house has been finished to a high standard, with excellent amenities, including hot tub with amazing views, outdoor dining and lounge spaces on 360 degree decks, WiFi, two TVs, heaps of parking, modern kitchen and luxury bathrooms, and comfortable stylish furniture throughout.

Comfortable Cottage Stay

Large self-contained cottage on a rural lifestyle block. The cottage is located on the same property as the owner’s residence. A perfect place to escape the grind and get back to nature. Property is close to Tangihua Forest where you can go hiking and hunting. Handy location to Whangarei City (22 min), and great for day trips to nearby beaches such as Whangarei Heads, Ruakaka and Dargaville. Get in some fishing at Marsden Point as well where you can also check out the refinery.

Kick back and relax in this quiet, calm, stylish space. Self-contained and removed from the main house. Enjoy rural New Zealand at its best. No loud traffic noise, just hens quietly clucking, the occasional baa of sheep or a farm dog doing its work. Yet you're only 15 minutes from the city of Whangarei with its cafes and restaurants, the world-famous Hundertwasser Museum, the Clapham Clock Museum and the fantastic range of boutique shops and food outlets at the Town Basin.

A short drive from Whangarei, this modern cottage is set within an avocado orchard. It is sunny, warm and quiet, providing a calm and relaxing environment away from the urban hustle. It is ideally situated for day trips to the Kauri forests near Dargaville and to Northland's stunning Bay of Islands and further north. Treehouse in the Forest Canopy | Reclaimed Kauri

Like a magic carpet ride in the canopy of the forest. A 120 year old Kauri villa was about to be torn down. We rescued the French doors, sarking, weatherboards, windows, flooring and shower fittings, then used them to build Wild Forest Treehouse. A space nestled into the forest slope, so that with all sets of French doors open, you're not looking down at the canopy. You're living inside it. Everything has had a life before this place. You can feel it.

Fairytale Treehouse

This gorgeous house is built right in the boughs of the trees reconnecting you with tales like the Lord of the Rings and the Magic Faraway Tree. Take an adventure into this dreamy dwelling that's nestled in its own private stand of native trees. This quiet getaway is not far from the city, and based on our secluded 28 acre property. Breakfast items are also provided for you to prepare at your leisure.
