Rising Star and Belterra Casinos are closeby, and a park/boat ramp on the Ohio is nearby. Rising Sun and Vevay are short drives, and the Arc and Creation Museum are both within 1 hour.

We rotate our small cattle for grazing and guest are welcome to visit the cattle when available

The Ark Encounter, Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland, and several distilleries are all within an hour of the cabin. This is a great place to relax between visits to these attractions.

Three Pines Historic Log Cabin

Three Pines is a rustic log cabin located on 17 acres with a forest view. Originally constructed in the 1790s by a Revolutionary War veteran, it was relocated to the present location in 2011, where it was reimagined with added modern conveniences. The cabin is great for history buffs and those looking for some peace and quiet in a unique setting. The cabin can be rented with our other listing, The Lodge at Three Pines, which provides an additional bedroom, bathroom, and hang out space.

Gopher Wood Getaway Cabin-NEAR Ark Encounter

Located about 20 minutes from the Ark Encounter, our Gopher Wood Getaway cabin offers a rustic and picturesque place for families to stay near the Ark. Enjoy 500 sq ft of living space inside the cabin that includes a fully equipped kitchen, a bunk room and full bathroom. Our cabin has heating, AC and electric over looking 84 acres of Kentucky Bluegrass. NOTE: Our cabins are truly a GETAWAY as we do NOT have any wi-fi or TV in them. Set on 4 quiet, wooded acres just 15 minutes from the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Anders Cabin is a 700 sq ft two-story retreat that gives you the feeling of being nestled among the trees, with bistro lights above and cardinals flitting through the branches around you. This modern cabin is thoughtfully designed with intention and warmth: featuring a striking black-and-white interior, nearly 20-foot vaulted ceilings, and peaceful forest views just beyond the windows.

Several miles of trails through open fields and wooded ridges provide riding or hiking adventures. Only a twenty minute ride to The Ark attraction or the Kentucky Horse Park.
