What an absolute gem of a place. It was immaculate and incredibly well stocked. The kitchen equipment was of a very high standard. The welcome pack was a real treat and so much appreciated. The information book was extremely well designed. We will definitely book again. Very impressive. The host Nicola was very easy to contact and extremely helpful. Thank you so much.

Hele leuke plek om te verblijven! Het voelt heel afgelegen aan, maar de stad is op slechts 10 minuutjes te bereiken met de auto. We hebben een kampvuur kunnen maken; een hele gezellige avond. Zeker aan te raden!

Very nice flat, a few minutes walk to the sea. A great location for the coast and the New Forest (10min drive away). Carl was very helpful and the flat was very clean. We had a great few days.

thank you so much for letting us stay in your cottage we had a really lovely time and the house was perfect! So much so that my husband said if we come to Bournemouth next year for our grandsons football tournament we will stay again if your cottage is still available! I would not hesitate to recommend the cottage to family and friends

The Captains retreat is a beautiful cottage with everything you should need to hand. The decor is lovely and just as the photos portray. It is very private with its own sweet little courtyard and late afternoon there was still beautiful sunshine to sit outside and enjoy. Unfortunately we had to leave earlier than expected due to family illness but Helen was the most responsive and friendly host. Extremely helpful with recommendations and very flexible where possible with check in and out times. We very much hope to return in the future to enjoy the full experience, thank you Helen:)

We had a wonderful stay - the cottage is very homely. We had two under two with us and the wildlife walking distance from the cottage was a lovely bonus.

fantastic property with an amazing view which gets better with the balcony where you can walk out and take in the wonderful views of the bay. everything you could possibly need is provided in this exceptionally clean property, with the added welcoming touches of fresh flowers sweets and a bottle of fizz were the icing on the cake . Steve is a fantastic and friendly host who responded quickly when we needed a boost in heating on a chilly evening if you are looking for a cozy and comfortable get away with a magnificent sea view look no further just , we counting down the days until our next stay already in May . thank you Steve for an amazing holiday home 10/10

Nothing negative at all. I loved it. Beautifully decorated. Lots to keep us amused. Actually, I would have been just as happy with the weekend if we hadn't left the accommodation. even my 18 and 21 year old kids were impressed - and that's very hard to do! Fantastic location 2 minutes walk from a quiet beach (although it is April so maybe it gets busier in the summer) Thank you for taking this last minute booking. It was perfect

Wonderful house with beautiful decor and everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay. Very comfortable beds and bathrooms were perfect. Lovely outdoor space and plenty of off road parking. Pub only a few mins walk away which served nice dinners. We will definitely be coming back to stay here soon!
