There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to have a decent shower while you are on vacation. That was absolutely not the case here. The hot water and water pressure in both bathrooms was exceptional. This is a great place in a great area. We will definitely try to get back here.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting UConn or the surrounding area. Keri and Jason were fabulous hosts and very responsive to my needs. Keri even anticipated needs by offering to have a fresh cup of coffee ready for me on the AM. Everything was perfect for my stay and there was definitely a comfortable feel. I will definitely be staying here in the future.

Six of us stayed over the weekend. We were very comfortable and Brad was very helpful and responsive. House had everything that we needed. Brad is a great host. Would 100% recommend a stay.

This was a great home away from home. Wish it didn’t rain as much as it did. We really wanted to walk the grounds more. Inside was cozy and warm. Anything you needed it was there. Definitely thinking about coming back in the winter because it would be a perfect winter wonderland. Thanks again Sophon

A peaceful location with chill activities for all ages...we enjoyed the phonograph, the retro Atari, the hot tub, the window bird feeder, and watching birds in the spacious yard and conservation area. Herons, hawks, and songbirds viewed. The hot tub was sparkling clean, and the linen robes were a thoughtful touch. Wifi worked great. We arrived late but instructions for entry were crystal clear. Virginia answered my questions promptly and warmly. Definitely a winner.

The host communicated well and was very thoughtful. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the heating unit was a bit tricky to figure out, but overall, we had a great stay.

We had an absolute blast on our girls getaway weekend!! The cottage and community were amazing, exactly what we were hoping for and Doug couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He was always available by text or phone. The cottage was clean, nicely equipped, and a great location!! We will definitely be renting this cottage again on our next trip!!! We really enjoyed our stay here! Karen was very quick to respond to any of our questions. The house is spacious and clean. We especially enjoyed the kitchen and dining room. I’d recommend this place to anyone staying in the area!

We had a great stay! Quiet, safe neighborhood, easy to get to the city. Lots of space for the six of us to eat and relax together. Beautiful view of the Boston skyline just minutes walk from the place. Comfortable beds and soft sheets too! We also had no troubles parking nearby and leaving our car (for free) for our entire stay.

We just a wonderful few days in Boston for the marathon. Maude was the perfect host… we really appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out and were so grateful for the provisions left for us, particularly as we arrived late! The location is perfect, it meant that we could explore everywhere in the City on foot. The neighbourhood is particularly great for restaurants and when the sun came out and the temperature rose, the vibe was fabulous. As a previous review mentioned, if you’re looking for a pristine, freshly painted apartment then it’s not for you, but if you like ‘quirky’ and a house with bags of character, (I especially loved the art), then I’d highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Lilac Ridge! The house was near and spacious, plenty of room for our family. We stayed in quite a bit and enjoyed the farm (including a visit with the calves!) and the house. The little farm stand had some nice things, including fresh eggs, maple syrup, honey, and soap, all local. Ross and Amanda were super responsive and took care of all our needs. Thanks so much!

It was very peaceful, great get away from the city. Good for the dogs. The copper tub is amazing, we could not get enough of it. And the dual showers felt so good. It felt very homey. Mr. John was a a great host.

I genuinely don't know what to say other than the fact that this may be one of the greatest places I've had the honor to lodge at. I did a lot of vetting across New England to find a wonderful place that could sleep a decent amount of people, provide a scenic and comfortable escape, and keep us entertained. Sarah's wonderful Stone and Sky Lodge exceeded every expectation I just listed. It's cozy, warm, and feels like a hidden nook! The scenery and nature couldn't be more beautiful. I never got the pleasure to meet Sarah, though I wish I did. Over messages and from what my friends told me, I just know that Sarah is the most hospitable and kind host that I've talked with in a while, and I hope that next time I can thank her personally. From my friends and I, we thank you for sharing your home with us. If you think that the excellent reviews are too good to be true, don't. This IS the truth, and I can't wait to have another reason to come back to this wonderful treasure of a place.

This is our 3rd stay at one of their Airbnb’s and they are always so accommodating. Places are always clean and well stocked. Communication is great! Will Be staying again on our next visit!

I am absolutely in love with this place. I live about 30 minutes away and had a staycation with some friends who came to town, and this was everything we could have wanted! It actually felt bigger than the photos and was plenty big for 3 people. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. As a local, I will say this location is perfect for anyone wanting to go to Newport, but be just outside of it in a quiet space. You’re close to one of the best beaches (second beach) and very close to Newport restaurants and other sights. I will be recommending this place to all of my friends who come to town!

We love the house! It’s spotless (very clean), very comfortable and super peaceful in a beautiful location! Highly recommend!

I fell in love with this apartment, the living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were excellent, very cozy and endless amenities, the only complaint I have is the ceiling of the room but it is understandable and is not a big deal and they did not tell us where to put the garbage so we had to leave it in front of the door in the garage but other than that a very good experience in this beautiful place, I recommend it!

My family had a great weekend at Kristin’s house. I love this Beautiful, clean, well maintained property. The fire pit is great for marshmallow. We did not get to use the lovely pool because it got really cold at night. Bonus: filtered water from fridge, blinds + curtain, skylight in bathroom.

This was our first time at the Barn. There were 8 of us. We had plenty of room. Plenty of parking. MaryBeth and Doug are extremely friendly. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the Barn. Will definitely book there again next year.

Lovely cottage surrounded by countryside: there were ducks, wild turkeys, chipmunks and blue jays in the garden. 5 mins drive from the lovely town of Dedham and 30 mins into central Boston. Cottage is small but beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Mark was super helpful.

We had a very nice stay for a family wedding. Sharing the house with two combined families in January and the house was great for this. There are rooms with 3-4 beds in each so if you are looking for bedroom privacy then this house probably isn’t it. That said, we are all family so was fun to bunk up! The area is beautiful and there r a great set of trails right at the end of the road for hiking, walking cross country skiiing etc. Overall, a great stay and Kimberly was very communicative with everything

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect place for families with children. So close to the beach with all the beach and home necessities you need while on vacation! Quaint town that was quiet but still has plenty of restaurants to visit. Overall, a great place!

This place was beautiful! The kitchen was spacious and accommodated our larger group nicely. Hosts left clear instructions and proactively checked in. They were even nice enough to open their pool a little earlier so we could enjoy it. Highly recommend staying here if you are planning a girls’ weekend. Bedrooms were comfy, and everyone in my group had a lovely time. Thank you!
