Stayed for two nights… it was perfect for us- we were expecting more noise and activity, given the location. There were quite a few homeless, however we never had any issues, and for the most part it felt safe. Very close/walkable to pretty much everything in the old port area- great location. We had no issues and really enjoyed the spaciousness and industrial feel to the place. Do recommend going some research on the parking situation- we thought street parking was free overnight, but got a parking ticket at 6:30 am. Recommend the Fishing Pier, it’s $15 per day- you pay for your parking tag at the Spring Street Garage exit (I parked across the street and walked up to the exit window). Chris was great- very responsive - would stay here again!

This place was the perfect home base for my family during our trip to Portland! We felt right at home, and Haley & Diane were incredibly kind and responsive when we had questions. We loved exploring Evergreen Cemetery right across the street, and it’s a quick 8 minute drive to downtown. We hope to stay here again during our next visit to Portland!

Jacks place is perfect for Portland! Will absolutely stay here every time I went to Portland and Jack was fantastic when I asked questions! Do yourself a favor and stay here !!!

The unit we stayed in was called “Rising Tide” with 1 queen bed & 2 full baths. A bedroom and a separate great room. Clean, well organized and spacious. We would rent again. Our host was super communicative, although we really didn’t need anything. Only a couple items to note. The bed was firm for us - could have used a foam pad. Cars parked in the alley right outside the bedroom window - we were disturbed by car doors closing and engine starting. And the Second Rodeo cafe employees share the same hallway- so you can hear the door and them talking when they arrive in the morning. If you’re a light sleeper, bring your sleep buds.

Roger was the perfect host! He greeted us upon arrival and gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants. So many eateries and shops within walking distance (including incredible vintage)! Roger’s place was super clean and had everything we needed- including a comfy bed, snacks and day passes to the art museum. We felt safe and well cared for. We will certainly be returning!

We enjoyed our stay. The unit is nice and clean. If we had any questions the host replied immediately. We would stay again if we ever visit this area again.

Monica is a wonderful host! The rental was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. Off-street parking was so helpful, especially for our winter stay. Easy to walk to downtown and west-end Portland. We had a great visit!

We were remodeling our home and needed a place to stay for over a month and this place did not disappoint. The home is welcoming and super clean and neat. There were plenty of amenities for cooking and it was well stocked with paper products and a few toiletries as well as plenty of linens. It is so close to many great businesses and walkable to an excellent Gluten free bakery. The host was extremely kind and responsive to our needs- my son (7) said this home felt just like our own home. His favorite part was the “fancy fridge” that we could play music on and see different pictures according to the weather haha. Definitely a great place.

I had just arrived at a nearby site to host family for my daughter's wedding. By 9:00 PM there was an issue requiring a new site—not easy as I needed a 1st floor bed for my elderly dad. Nicole answered immediately with helpful chat, making me feel less alone as airbnb resolved things. The clock was ticking to the wedding. John & Nicole were sympathetic, communicative, and got me in by 11:00 AM. The home was excellent! Handy with two 1st-floor bedrooms and one up a few steps. Checking in/out? Easy! The decor? Light and airy. The amenities? Up-to-date with SPARKLING bathrooms/kitchen/linens, washer/dryer, and TV. Very comfortable for me, my husband, my daughter's father, and my dad—with room for wedding prep and guests to gather comfortably at the generously-sized island and table. Limited stairs ended up being additionally important as I had a minor mishap the day of the wedding. I was thankful everything was so thoughtfully appointed and comfortable for me to regroup! Thank you!!!

We had a great stay in Tara's home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and is close to our favorite towns- Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. We had plenty of room for the four of us. We loved the outside spaces and the open floor plan. Tara was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The instructions for check in and check out were very clear. We hope to return in the future!

Actually rented both units A & B of this property for my wife's birthday to have some room for additional family (surprise). Unit A was awesome! 2 beds and a bath, BIG kitchen that had everything you would need, dog friendly with a fenced in yard which is always a plus, super comfortable living room/dining room combo that had plenty of room for everyone to gather, private courtyard (shared with unit B) with room for outdoor dining and a grill PLUS hot tub! I could go on but to summarize, it was perfect for our plans. The addition of unit B gave us the whole place and I couldn't be more pleased! Centrally located. Anywhere we wanted to explore, from Kennebunkport to Ogunquit and beyond, was never more than 20 - 30 minutes away. Even the neighbors were amazing (friendly)! 100% I would (and plan to) stay here again!

We had a fantastic girls weekend!! Loved the location was quiet but close to downtown which was fantastic! The kitchen had everything we needed. the living room had large sectional couch which made for a great place to sit and catch up on life! The bedrooms were spacious with ample closet space and comfortable beds! The bathroom had everything we needed and made for a good use of space off the kitchen. We would stay here again!!

My girlfriend and I came to celebrate our one year anniversary. It was everything we hoped for and more, the kitchen had everything we could dream of, the beds were comfortable, the surroundings were immaculate, not to mention the hot tub and easy access to the beach. Our host was responsive and willing to help with whatever we asked. All in all, it’s a beautiful location where Arian provided everything we could ask for to make the most of it. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Or stay exceeded or expectations. We rented the place for my 60th birthday with seven other women! Everything was top notch, very clean, very comfortable very cozy. Everything we needed to cook was available the beds we are very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean organized. We could not have asked for anything more. This was one of the most organized, clean places easy accessible to town. Kennebunkport is stunning. I will definitely rent this place again. Thank you so much Tim for your kind hospitality and all your help and for the beautiful Maine goodies, you left us ! So thoughtful and sweet !

Kristin's cottage is a light filled cottage that is updated, clean and super comfy. I loved the location and how quiet it was as well. The addition of a pool was also such a nice to have. I will definitely be booking again soon. Can't wait to make this my every summer vacation spot!

Had a wonderful stay at Christophers place. He is a great host, always responsive with clear instructions. Place was peaceful, private and is exactly same as it was in the pictures. Will come soon!

We enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The train does go right behind the place at an intersection. The horn is very loud, which was hard for our toddler. Just something to consider if you’re traveling with infants/toddlers. Overall, would definitely recommend!

My second stay with Will. A clean, comfortable, quiet unit. Hate to give a five star review because it may be harder to get a reservation next year when I come back for work. 😄

The location is amazing. The view is amazing as shown in the pictures. The apartment was actually pretty quiet, we couldn’t hear anyone in other units and little to no noise from the beach or bar below, though we stayed in the off-season. The balcony is huge and plenty of seating options and the living room is spacious and lots of seating. We had two young kids with us and we all had a great time. Would stay again.

Great location to be able to walk to the shops and restaurants, art district, theatre, etc in town. Cute and cozy condo in a building with beautiful original character. The list of recommendations was appreciated and helpful. Host was very responsive and friendly and flexible when possible. We enjoyed our stay here for our first visit to Portland!

The condo was very clean, tasteful decorated. Beds were comfortable. Loved the big table to play games and the living room was cozy for the evening and morning chats. Pretty views.
