Laura’s place was charming and cozy. We were slept wonderfully in the comfortable beds listening to the Spring peepers. The views are beautiful and peaceful. Getting to hang out with her delightful cat, Wesley was an extra bonus.

We had a great time in this house where we went for a short weekend vacation, we were never bored in this house that has many facilities in the forest by the lake, it was our bad luck that the weather was rainy :( but the fact that the house had a lot of closed space made up for it :), all the ingredients needed for the meal were complete. Also, the landlord was very attentive, we could reach him when we needed.

Great place to stay! So open & clean with such a nice spot on the lake. With an awesome host that is very friendly & accommodating! Highly recommended a visit

This really was a perfect stay with an incredible view! We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The view was absolutely breathtaking, just as shown in the pictures. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Everything was exactly as described, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

I stayed at David’s place as part of a research visit at UAlbany. Super convenient location for that. I had two separate bookings at David’s place due to some traveling while in Albany - both stays were equally great. 5-star Airbnb with everything you need and 5-star host who will do everything to help and make your stay as great as possible. Definitely recommend!

One of our favorite stays so far. The place has character for days, with enough modern amenities for comfort. The lived-in feel had us settling in in no time. Beds were comfortable enough - the pull-out sofa beds less so, though I've yet to meet one that was otherwise. Everyone adored the balcony. The kitchen was better equipped than any other airbnb I've stayed in by a long shot. We wished we had more time to spend out on the deck and the lovely lawn stretching down to the water. Hope to return in the summer or fall someday!

Marika’s house felt like something out of a dream. Our stay was absolutely magical, from the ethereal artwork to the comforting wood fire stove and coziest couch, we loved every second. The stunning views stole our hearts. We stayed during a winter storm and I wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else. The vast windows were perfect for watching the snow fall. Marika is the perfect host, she made us feel so welcome and comfortable. You can feel her wonderful energy all through the gorgeous home. Every nook of the home is filled with intention and exquisite attention to detail. We will be coming back as soon as possible, we fell in love it with all. Deepest gratitude to Marika.

Our stay was amazing. Peaceful and secluded just like we were hoping for as a getaway from the city for us and our pup! Christine was friendly and ready to help if we needed. Our dog loved splashing in the river and the secluded nature of our cabin. Kayaking was a lot of fun and Christine had good recommendations for walking trails and food in the area. We went during her quiet season so it was pretty much just us and it was exactly what we were looking for, can’t wait to return next year.

Just what we needed to relax and unwind while in town for a wedding. Very peaceful! Made great use of the kayaks on site. Thank you Gina!

Christine’s property was very nice for a 3 day weekend with my friend. Instructions were very clear and spot on. If only the weather let us use her kayak and fire pit! Would stay here again :)

Wow this is a gorgeous location. Kayaked on the river, went to the nature preserve, and that was before we left the house. It is just a stunningly beautiful area. The cabin has a rustic camp vibe (wood walls and ceilings etc) but inside everything was top notch. Beds were shockingly comfortable vs. some other spots we have stayed. It did take us a minute to figure out how the shower worked, but that was nothing at all compared to our overall experience. Thank you!

My partner and I booked a weekend stay for our anniversary. It was serene and peaceful just like we wanted. There are options for food and a nearby town for anything you may need. Would definitely recommend.

If you’re looking for a cozy relaxing little getaway house, this is it. We had such a wonderful stay! The place was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend, and I truly enjoyed my time here. Everything was perfect, and spotless. The hosts have wonderful hospitality and gave us recommendations for the local restaurants etc. I hope to be back during the summer and will definitely be looking forward to staying at this place again.

This place was just what we were looking for, and Christine made is so easy, from booking to check out. The cabin was beautiful and the setting just as special.

Absolutely perfect. Don't pass up the opportunity to stay at this cabin! She describes it well, beautiful view, private, stunning view. Towpath landing is so cool and Christine has a vision. I was a victim of Hurricane Helene, Christine had such a heard and genuinely cared for me, giving me a place to stay and heal, recover. Highly recommend staying here, supporting the property and it's heart. Not like other places in all the best ways. You'll feel at home, cozy, welcome, relaxed the whole time. The sun room was just the best for sipping coffee and watched leaves fall. Thanks so much for an incredible stay! Can't wait to come back and tell others to visit!

This location on the river has such an incredible view! I wish we could have stayed longer.
