Use the kayaks to paddle around Gig Harbor--or paddle to the Tides Tavern or Anthony's seafood for lunch! Just an hour from Seattle and 1/2 hour from Tacoma, this private island beachfront cabin is the perfect getaway. Enjoy the expansive water views, hot tub, and beach access. Take the kayaks to go exploring and you may see seals, porpoises, even whales. You'll enjoy two separate living spaces on the one property - the main house and the bungalow. Herron Island is in Case Inlet on Key Peninsula. It's about 3 miles around, and might just be the friendliest place on the planet!

Your vacation rental, Marea, sits right at the water's edge on low bank waterfront with unobstructed views. There's a permitted Deep-water floating dock (if you would like to arrive by boat). RV parking is also available. The beach is littered with oysters & clams. The expansive deck is ideal for entertaining or enjoying the views from the hot tub. Enjoy kayaking and bird watching while roasting smores around the firepit. 3 kayaks are available. No Pets please.

The home offers 120 feet of private beach! You will need to walk the stairs to get to the beach, we are on a medium to high bank.

Waterfront Cabin on the Sound

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs for a $50 fee each.
