This architectural technique helps maintain a consistently cool indoor temperature throughout the day. Complemented by a green roof, this design significantly reduces the need for air conditioning, keeping the interior 5-6°C cooler than a conventional house. Additionally, the villa’s thoughtful layout enhances the feeling of absolute seclusion, making you feel completely immersed in nature. Many of the materials used in the villa's construction have been sourced directly from the land itself, including locally quarried stone and native flora, along with high-quality natural elements such as marble and wood. Within 1 mile of the atmospheric Almyrida resort with beach & delightful taverns. Inside are 3 bedrooms, open plan kitchen/diner, 3 shower rooms. There is a sun terrace around the pool & on 1st floor off the master bedroom. The nearest airport is Chania International, 19 miles away.

Ενα μικρό, ήσυχο σπίτι 55τμ στο χωριό Λάκκοι, σε υψόμετρο 500 μέτρα, με ατμόσφαιρα παραδοσιακή, με ανεμπόδιστη θέα στα Λευκά Ορη της Κρήτης, με δύο κρεβατοκάμαρες, ένα μπάνιο και καθιστικό με κουζίνα, που φιλοξενεί 4 άτομα και το κατοικίδιό τους. Η ανατολή του ήλιου χτυπάει πρωί πρωί την αυλή και τα παράθυρα του σπιτιού και το λούζει με φως. 20 λεπτα από το φαράγγι της Σαμαριάς, 30 λεπτά από τα Χανιά και 60 λεπτά για τη Σούγια στο Λιβυκό Πέλαγος και 10 λεπτά από το πλησιέστερο σούπερμαρκετ.

The Stone House in Aspro (South Side)

The Southern Stone House is a fully-equipped traditional cottage with a spacious innter yard, in the village of Aspro, Chania. It was built in the late 1800s and renovated in 2020 by myself and my father. Our goal was to create a space that is simple, serene and evocative of older times, yet is completely functional in the modern sense. It's located 2km away from the area's main village Almyrida, where you can find some basic stores, restaurants, as well as a couple of beautiful beaches.

Vraskos villa - free heated pool for low season

The villa enjoys a unique rural location set on a spacious private plot. A small pebble beach can be reached following a wild, stony path. In 2026 we are expanding the property with a new building that will allow us to host larger groups in the future. The structure is currently unfinished, and all construction work has been suspended for the season to ensure a quiet and relaxing stay for our guests.
