The Blue Yard

The Blue Yard is a tiny home on the beautiful drive-on island of Aughinish, 12 km outside the sea-side town of Kinvara, named one of the top ten beautiful villages in Ireland. Aughinish Island is accessed by a 1 km causeway (not tidal) and is an area of unspoilt beauty with local pebble beaches a five minute walk away and the sandy beach of Traught a ten min drive away (8 km). You'll be staying on the Clare-Galway border with both the wildness of the Burren and Galway city at your doorstep.

Bright and spacious apartment with a balcony overlooking Galway Bay. Directly opposite a wide, gently sloping sandy beach that is generally quieter than the other beaches in Salthill. Only a few minutes walk from Salthill village with it’s vibrant mix of pubs, café’s and independent shops. Galway city center is a 15-20 min walk, 5 min drive or short bus ride. Allocated parking space in secure underground car park (also secure bike parking). Lift/elevator to all floors including car park.

Our little rural annex flat is modern but comfortable. It is the same building as our house. We have converted a part of our house into a self-contained flat. It has a king size bed, spacious bedroom, bathroom with shower, kitchen with table and couch. We are in the countryside but just 6km from Eyre Square in Galway city centre. It's the perfect base for you to explore the west and the Wild Atlantic Way. The property is a guest flat/annex(part of our house) but is full self-contained.

Family friendly and quiet granny flat in beautiful countryside surroundings just 3kms from Galway City Centre. We have everything you need including fresh organic hens eggs, plenty of space to unwind and a sunken trampoline for the kids! The flat is a contemporary mezzanine with loads of light, 2 beds (downstairs pull out is quite small, okay for 1 adult or 2 under 12's), kitchen and shower room and we're happy to chat and tell you about the best places to eat, drink, cycle and hike.
