We had a wonderful stay at Kimiko’s Beach Loft! The space felt warm, welcoming and so so cozy with the wood burning fireplace. We had it going all weekend! The outdoor space was just as awesome as the indoor. Kimi and Scott thought of it all - we had everything we needed. We checked out some antique spots down the road, had a dip in the ocean, enjoyed the hot tub and cooked all weekend! It truly was a special weekend!

Great little suite with everything we needed, just steps from Chesterman Beach. Clean, comfortable, and great location, with a lovely lighted path to the beach. Barbara was so thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay, from leaving an Easter surprise for our kids to helping us out with finding a missing kite! Thank you :)

Perfect place to stay on the Sunshine Coast! Cozy, clean, and amazing views. We had the best time & Terrence was a great host.

Great spot out in the country side, peaceful and only a short drive away from the grocery store. May look a little old but everything works well and it was very clean. Wasn't able to enjoy the fireplace due to windy conditions but myself and the family ended up loving sitting outside and enjoying the scenery.

We could not have asked for better accomodation or location. Just perfect!

Rebecca’s place felt like home away from home as soon as you stepped inside. It had lots of seating and was very comfortable. Even though the lake was still frozen over the grounds were so nice we were able to spend lots of time outside with the dogs. It’s hard to find this level of accommodation that also accepts pets. There were dog beds and gates set up that made having our dogs there easy and safe but no sign of other pets having been there like smell or hair making it ideal for those who aren’t with pets as well. Hot tub was well maintained and gorgeous views! All amenities needed and beautiful bathrooms. Felt like a 5 star hotel with cottage amenities with the layout, items provided and decor. Would 10/10 stay again! Looking forward to heading back when the weather is nice for some time on the lake and in the walkable shoreline! Thanks again Rebecca!

This is our second visit and we will be back again next year. If you like breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains, your own private beach, the most well maintained hot tub that has the amazing views of the ocean as well along with the sitting spaces outside than this is your place to stay. The views actually start as soon as you enter the front gate. The home is so cozy and clean you feel right at home right away. We fell asleep at night listening to the gentle waves. We saw so many sea lions swim by along with a bald eagle that visited us all day on a tree in the yard! We love Sooke it’s a really nice town to stay and has stores for shopping and groceries minutes away. Maria thank you for being such a great host! Frank and Cheryl

Apartment was clean and tidy, we enjoyed our stay! The balcony & view was our favourite part.

Can't say enough about this lovely area. The friendliest, and most peacefull spot tucked off the main highway. The beach cabin had everything we needed and more! Thoughtfully decorated and hosted by Gisele. Would highly reccomend, and will absolutely come through again. Don't forget to grab a couple stickers on the way out!

Our stay at the Strand was simply magical and will hold a very special place in our memories for many years to come. Every attention to detail in all the furnishings, kitchen/bathroom amenities and local recommendations were so thoughtful and made this magical place feel like home, a very warm, peaceful and relaxing home! The beautiful photos from this listing were what attracted us to this booking but the reality was even far more breathtaking, stunning and exceeded all our expectations. We’ve stayed at many Airbnbs around the world and the Strand has to be one of, if not the, BEST one we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend Roy’s place! The location was perfect and the view from the master bedroom of the water was amazing! The apartment was very spacious and clean and it had everything we needed! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

I stayed at Raymond’s place for a week with my husband and father in law, and it was spacious enough for the three of us. We had a great time and his house is charming with a wonderful deck and incredible views of the ocean. We walked along the beach trail into town several times. The Sunshine Coast is such a great area and we greatly enjoyed daily walks in forests and beaches and spend time visiting the local cideries and breweries. I echo some other reviews that some of the kitchen utensils could be replaced. But we did manage to cook some lovely dinners, making use of some great local seafood and used the bbq a couple of times. We would happily stay here again in the future.

This is my second time at this place, it is always clean, and well maintained, as well as helpful host. Always answers messages fast, and gives clear instructions. I enjoyed the time stayed at this place, beautiful place.

The house and location are beautiful! We had lots of room to spread out in the house - lots of nooks, windows, books and decks. It made it enjoyable to have both privacy when travelling with a multigenerational group and also places to gather. The kitchen is well appointed which made cooking easy. The beach was fun to walk and explore, and if the weather has been a bit warmer we would've swam and paddled. Fanny Bay itself is a beautiful area of the island but it is also a very convenient distance to exploring more of the mid-island - Cumberland/Courtenay and Horne Lake Caves to mention a couple. After exploring it was peaceful to return to this house. I would book again.

Deb was an amazing host and the we really enjoyed our stay. It was a splendid experience for us with private beach access, the house all equipped with amenities and the instructions were very clear. Hosts kind behaviour to us made our stay even more good though there was a mishap from our side. We highly recommend this place! Thank you for hosting us. This place would be in our wish list for upcoming summer trip.

This home is truly amazing, a well laid out cottage with excellent views. It is very well stocked with games, books, movies, kitchen appliances, etc. Clean & cozy accommodations, the record player & woodstove were a hit & well used and spending time at the beach was what memories of made of. We could have stayed for much longer & would not have run out of things to do. Communication with Lori was very easy. We would highly recommend this home to anyone who is hoping to get away & relax.

Our family's lakeside cottage getaway was absolutely magical! The cottage itself was spacious and beautiful, easily accommodating our family of five and our small dog. The highlight? Without a doubt, the incredible hot tub and sauna. Soaking in the warm, bubbling hot tub under the starry sky was pure bliss. The cottage was immaculately clean, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We spent evenings playing board games by the fireplace, creating memories we'll cherish forever. This place is a true gem. 5 stars all the way!

This was an incredible space for our family to spend time together during the holidays. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach with incredible views! We saw seals each time we visited the beach. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved having enough bedrooms for each of our children to have their own space and the common spaces were large and comfortable for everyone as well. Loved it!
