Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve (10mins) and outdoor activities. Perfect for families, groups and couples.

Stay in a Castle

Guest flat in Hornby Castle, which is located in the picturesque Lune Valley, in the forest of Bowland and not far from the Lake District, sitting on a hill with dramatic views overlooking the Lune valley and Ingleborough. Relax, enjoy the local walks, including along the river in our garden. Hornby has a good village tea room & pub. Also a good village shop. Our TV is small and only runs off online apps. Remember it is an old house and can therefore be or feel cold.

Behind the unassuming entrance to 17 Meeting House lane lies an oasis of calm in the very heart of the city of Lancaster. Our flat is situated in the Castle Conservation area of town and only 2 minutes walk from the railway station. It comes with an attached garage for ease of parking should you be travelling by car. The town centre with its shops, pubs, restaurants and historic buildings are all within a few minutes walk too.

Lowfield Barn

Set in private grounds, with plenty of room for families (and pets!), Lowfield is a converted barn, which is close to Lancaster University and an ideal base for exploring the North West and Lake District. Characterful Croft Cottage

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids, including a baby). With wonderful views to Hutton Roof Crag, Croft Cottage, a detached nineteenth century, stone-built cottage sleeping four, is tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. It has passed down through the family and is very dear to us.

Fantastic access to the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Lancashire Moors. Three bedroom cottage, in a lovely village in the heart of the northern English countryside. A rural setting, with great local and national transport links, walking distance to the village shop, and just a couple of miles from the beautiful market town of Kirkby Lonsdale.
