Hummingbird Cottage in Quiet Residential Arbor Heights

We are 20 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from downtown with easy access to the beaches at Alki and Lincoln Park. Your quiet backyard refuge is newly remodeled with everything you’ll need for a weekend or a month. We are just a half block from the bus stop and access to Seattle’s great transit system. Whether you’re here for Business, visiting family, or on holiday, Hummingbird cottage should fill the bill. You have off street parking and the entire space to yourself, with laundry facilities and a full kitchen at your disposal. If you need a highchair or pack-n-play crib for your little one just let us know. I’ll be here to greet you (unless you come in very late), in which case I’ll give you the code for our August Bluetooth lock to get in when you arrive. We’re only 50 feet away if you need us but will give you your space if you don’t. Arbor Heights is a tranquil neighborhood halfway between the airport and downtown, plus only a few minutes from grocery stores, restaurants. and parks with amazing views. Alki and Lincoln Park beaches are also easily accessible. Seattle is a good city to get around in by car but if you’re going downtown you might want to leave the car and catch the 21 bus to save the parking hassle and cost.

Many of our guests are solo travelers or visitors looking for a safe, relaxed place to land while exploring Seattle. Because this suite is part of a lived-in home with kids upstairs, you may occasionally hear normal daytime household sounds -- most guests find it adds to the warm, homey atmosphere.

15 minute drive to downtown Seattle. 25 minutes from SeaTac Airport. The newly renovated cottage is an absolute delight and I'm so excited to offer it as a short term rental. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood minutes walk from Morgan Junction (restaurants, coffee shops, grocery shopping), Lincoln Park (trails, green spaces galore, and a water front path), and Lowman Beach. The cottage offers peek a boo views of the Sound to enjoy with your morning coffee.

In the early days of Airbnb, I found it so exciting to rent an Airbnb away from my home while being welcomed into someone else's. The host's rentals were, well, homey--not stale or noisy like a big hotel. I loved all the host's special touches. Nowadays, many short-term rentals are run by management companies.
