Would recommend. Lovely flat in a fantastic location. We had problems checking in as the door was locked. However, given 5 stars as the issue was dealt with quickly.

Margaret is a great host. The description of the studio was spot on. Very compact, self contained and spotlessly clean. We used it for a New Years break and it was within good walking distance to the town. Communication from Margaret was excellent.

Second time here really enjoyed our stay

Stayed with 4 young children. Great location with a short walk to the metro to get into Newcastle centre. Close to Jesmond Dene for walks and lots of shops, takeaways and restaurants on the street. Great value for money.

Very impressive place! Great for Yorkshire 3 peaks and surrounding areas. A lovely tea room next door that they own.

Great location and barn. Perfect for a multi generational family get together (including a dog). The barn was exactly as described and well kitted out. The outside space is private and safe - the barbecue and hot tub are of a great standard. Excellent food at the Rose and Crown (but you must book). Plenty of places too visit....we had a great walk with two young children round High Force. Sarah is responsive and not "in your face". As good an Airbnb as we have been to for our annual clan gathering.

Great space for 4 adults, an infant and 2 dogs while visiting family. The property was clean and tidy and finished to a high standard. The kitchen was well equipped. The house is located on a quiet estate close to countryside and with easy access into Durham. We really enjoyed our stay and will likely use the property again in the future.

They are very friendly and extremely helpful and responsive, going the extra mile if needed. The location is great with lovely views and excellent walks/hikes. We had a fantastic short break at Thomas Gray house. The house itself was well-designed, clean and comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful, with easy access to the Lake District and Morecambe Bay. Our children particularly loved the Air Hockey and other games, as well as the huge TVs. They didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay.

Our family had a lovely stay even our kids loved the apartment. The apartment is very central as it is walking distance to all the restaurants and the city centre. It has a beautiful view of the lake from the lounge and the balcony, peaceful surroundings and it has free parking which is very convenient. We will definitely stay here again when we come back.

Great location for the village. There is a little bit of road noise but it didn’t disturb us at all. The bed linen and towels were beautiful crisp white and the beds really comfy. The apartment is really comfortable and has private parking. Gill was super friendly and responsive. We had a lovely few days away. Thank you cor Easter treats too, our 5 year old was made up.

Charlie is one of the best host I have ever encountered. She was helpful and provided all that I asked for. would encourage others to stay at her place.

Cosy cottage with lots of character, in central location. Easy access to shops and sites. Could unload outside cottage, and then go to nearby on street parking. Booked cottage for overnight stay for the Taste of the Sea Festival. Exceeded all expectations when discovered that free breakfast was included at nearby cafe.

The apartment was lovely, can not fault it at all. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. Also left plenty of snacks and goodies at the apartment. Would 100% recommend staying here. Wouldn’t think twice about booking again. Was a wonderful stay 👍🏼
