A place to zone out of city life in nature whilst having the city on your doorstep. The Green Door is a private cottage with a garden and secure parking. The precinct offers an opportunity to experience a permaculture forest garden, eco building, natural pool, rain water harvesting and much more. You are welcome to explore and join a tour if there's one on.

Located in a quiet, access controlled cul de sac this upstairs maisonette has spectacular views from the outside deck. This is an upstairs unit above the main house, with 13 steps walk up access. The private entrance with allocated parking, gives you privacy and peace of mind. The ensuite bathroom has access to a very spacious and comfortable bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is a separate open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. The lounge has a sleeper couch for the kids.

Our home is situated in a peaceful yet central part of Durban, in Glenwood near the university and hospitals, hence a suitable location for medical interns. Grocery stores, coffee shops, art galleries, and parks are also nearby. The free-standing cottage is self-catering with access to the washing machine making it popular with longer stay guests. Most of our guests get around by Uber but if bringing a car, please let us know beforehand to confirm parking availability.
