We spent a wonderful week at Ami’s cottage and had a fantastic time relaxing in the hot tub and sauna. Ami was an excellent host, maintaining clear and prompt communication throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Really a peaceful place near a frozen lake. We booked airport transport with Jaakko, and he dropped us off for shopping and recommended some activities nearby.

Wir danken Matti und Marita für die schöne Zeit im Haus und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Es war total erholsam und wir haben uns von der 1. Sekunde an zu Hause gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und warm, perfekt sauber und das Badezimmer war neu renoviert mit Füßbodenheizung und allem, was es angenehm macht. Die Sauna war toll. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Internet war sehr schnell und ist ausreichend schnell, um von da aus zu arbeiten, wenn man das muss. Wir haben den Ausflug zu den Rentieren sehr genossen, die Langlaufski und haben uns bei langen Spaziergängen in den Wäldern rundum sehr gut erholt. Die Gastgeber waren immer ansprechbar und total hilfsbereit. Es war sehr interessant und wir haben viel Neues über Lappland und Finnland gelernt. Vielen Dank für alles und hoffentlich bis bald!

Wir haben für eine Woche die Hütte auf dem Bauernhof gebucht und hätten uns keinen schöneren Urlaub in Lappland vorstellen können. Unsere Gastgeberin Eleni war stets für uns da und hat geholfen, wo sie nur konnte. Dank ihrer super lieben Art haben wir uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Unser absolutes Highlight sind für uns die Nordlichter gewesen - wir können unser Glück noch gar nicht richtig fassen. Wir sind richtig beseelt und dankbar! Also: Wer eine (romantische) Auszeit fernab von dem ganzen Trubel sucht ist hier genau richtig.

Awesome experience: Renting the cottage it’s not just a stay but an immersive Finnish experience. The cottage is located in the nuuksio park, u can find awesome paths for hikes, the possibility to kayak and a real finnish wood sauna. The host is really lovely and nice, available for any kind of needs. 100% worth it!

Heidi’s place is at the best location if you want to be close to Rovaniemi but to be able to see the northern lights at the same time. We stayed there 2 days to explore Rovaniemi before going to the north to see the northern lights but we already saw them in these two days. We felt like at home. Very cosy and peaceful.

Nina is an excellent host. Just she was few minutes away for any queries via messaging. The house was very clean, well-decorated, in a peacefull environment. You will just listen birds' singing constantly. You will find everything you need in the house. Just burn the woods in the fireplace and enjoy the view in peace. We enjoyed playing badminton a lot in the front yard, even in the rain.Thanks for the equipments :) 25-30 minutes drive to costal side or 5 minutes to very beautiful lake. Heating was good. Double bed was very comfortable, felt sleeping like in my own bed. You will not regret from anything.

Lovely and relaxing place with very helpful hosts

Wir hatten unglaublich schöne Tage bei Raimo. Er ist ein großartiger Gastgeber - bei Fragen schnell erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Hütte hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen: Sie ist nicht nur außergewöhnlich sauber und gemütlich, sondern mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden, und die Küche ist ebenfalls gut ausgestattet. Ein echtes Highlight war die Aussicht von der Terrasse - jeden Tag aufs neue einfach atemberaubend. Diese Ruhe ist unbezahlbar. In der näheren Umgebung findet man alles Notwendige – Supermärkte und einige Restaurants sind gut erreichbar. Der Abschied fiel uns schwer, und wir hoffen sehr, bald wieder an diesen besonderen Ort zurückkehren.

Övernattade en natt i Åsas och Timos trädgård, och det var toppen! Så enskilt och fridfullt, och jag sov som en stock😃 Bastubadet var även det härligt. Jag rekommenderar varmt!

Despite the detailed written instructions provided for each item(sauna, grill, jacuzzi), I still encountered a few minor difficulties. However, the host was exceptionally responsive and promptly answered all my questions. While the surrounding area offered limited activities, it served as an ideal destination for a brief escape focused on enjoying the hot tub and sauna, which were perfect.

Ihana paikka ja todella mukavat isäntä ja emäntä! Ihanan rauhallinen paikka, ja oma todella hyvä sauna, joka lämpesi nopeasti! Kävellen pääsi pihasta kauniille luontopoluille, ja autolla näppärästi vääksyn keskustaan joka näkemisen arvoinen kanavoineen, rantoineen ja kahviloineen yms. Koiraaitaus pihalla oli myös todella kätevä näin koirallisille ihmisille. Mökissä oli kaikki mitä tarvitsi, ja erittäin siisti. Lastenlelujakin oli paljon taaperolle! Suosittelen paikkaa lämpimästi rauhaa ja luonnosta nautiskelijoille ❤️

La baita è molto bella, moderna ed attrezzata come un piccolo appartamento cittadino, pulitissima e rifinita in ogni dettaglio. Ma il vero lusso è il panorama splendido e la quiete del lago e passare due giorni in questo posto speciale ci ha permesso di ricaricare le batterie, anche con due bimbi al seguito. Heikki è un host gentile ed entusiasta, e ci ha dato ottimi suggerimenti, da semplici trekking in zona a visite ad antiche fortezze; ottimo il ristorante Olkkolan Hovi; vale la visita, non solo per il buon cibo ad un prezzo abbordabile, ma anche per la bellezza dell’antica struttura in legno sulle sponde del lago. Siisti ja sopivan kokoinen mökki. Rauhallinen sijainti "mökkikylässä", lähellä palveluita. Saimme selkeät ohjeet, joiden mukaan toimitaan. Mökki lämpeni hujauksessa. Hailuoto paikkana on monipuolinen retkeilykohde.

Anja war eine sehr freundliche und fröhliche Gastgeberin. Sie war sehr hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Das kleine heimelige Häuschen hat Veranda und Schaukelstuhl. Man ist für sich. Es hat eine nahe Badegelegenheit, die wir bei unserem Aufenthalt für uns hatten. Wir genossen die Ruhe, die Blaubeeren und die Sauna am See sehr. Wir können es nur empfehlen!

Kaikkeen oli hyvät ohjeet ja asiat menivät mutkattomasti! Sauna oli erinomainen ja tunnelmallinen. Suositus myös lähellä sijaitsevan lammen luontopolun kiertämiselle. Päivi vastasi viesteihin nopeasti ja antoi hyviä vinkkejä ympäristöstä.

Jos kaipaat omaa rauhaa ja tilaa tässä on erinomainen valinta siihen. Perinteisen mökin tunnelmaa ja kaikki toimi mainiosti. Mökki ja tilat ovat suuremmat kuin mitä kuvista käsittää. Tulemme ehdottomasti uudelleen tähän kohteeseen.

Super cosy place in the heart of RVN that is very well equipped (**Moomin cups are a surprise), spacious and clean. Frank is also super-friendly and made us feel right at home from the very beginning. Absolute gem of a place !!

Nautittiin olostamme täysin. Oltiin reissussa 4-vuotiaan ja 8-kuisen kanssa. Vanhempi lapsi ilmoitti haluavansa jo kesällä uudestaan. Maisemat oli ihanat jopa maaliskuun kelissä ja oli tavattoman hiljaista ja rauhallista. Kevätauringossa kelpasi istuskella paljussa pihalla. Mökki oli tosi siisti ja viihtyisä sisältä. Ikkunasta kelpasi tuijotella upeaa järvimaisemaa. Kaikki tarvittavat kamppeet löytyi ja ohjekansiossa oli kattavat ohjeet ja infoa lähiympäristön mahdollisuuksista. (patikointireittejä jne.) Kiitos, tästä jäi olo, että kesäkeleillä pitää päästä vielä uudestaan!
