Peaceful home with great views of the ocean and endless sound of waves. We had one of the best night's rest in a long time. Contemporary cottage interior with great kitchen, open lounge/living area with a few spaces for cozy chilling, and large hot tub on bottom deck for relaxation. Tesla charger a big bonus on the Mendocino coast. Hosts incredibly responsive and went out of their way to provide recommendations to help us out!

Nancy and Sam were amazing hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed staying at their place. Great views, great amenities and overall a wonderful place. Would love to come here again!!

My family and I had an incredible stay at Gower’s Airbnb. Honestly, it was even nicer than I expected. This property offers a true California experience that’s incredibly hard to find. I’ve driven along Highway 1 many times, always thinking how amazing it would be to spend time on that beautiful coastal land you see from the road, and this property delivers exactly that. We had lunch and dinner overlooking sweeping views of untouched coastline and the beach below. There’s an easy path down to what felt like a private beach (we didn’t see another soul the entire time), and we spent hours exploring the black sand, walking the shore, and checking out the tide pools at low tide. The whole time, I kept thinking how rare and unspoiled this experience is. Gower has created an incredible home, thoughtfully designed with all the comforts you could want right in the middle of some of the most beautiful land in the world. We’re already talking about when we can come back.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at your home. The house was well appointed and had everything that we needed/wanted. The setting was gorgeous. We loved getting to view wildlife right from the house and take in the beautiful views. The host was very responsive and sent helpful messages with information in anticipation to our arrival and departure. We definitely look forward to returning!

Brenda and Butch were very welcoming and helpful with directions. The property is beautiful and better than imagined. Spent lots of time relaxing, floating and swimming at the river. (Chevy Silverado 4x4 made the river access very easy.) We also loved fishing for bass in Brenda’s pond! The cabin had all the essentials. We were able to make wonderful meals on the bbq with a breathtaking view. A bald eagle frequented the valley and we held hope to see a bear, but only saw tracks. We really enjoyed our stay at Carley Ranch and we’ll be back! Thanks Brenda and Butch!

This is one of the best AirBNBs I have ever stayed in. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable, with hand-crafted custom touches throughout. The view to the ocean is absolutely lovely. I stayed here with my husband, toddler, and mom, and we had plenty of space to spread out. The house exceeded our expectations, which were high. The location is excellent - extremely close to Jug Handle State Park and of course a short drive away to Ft. Bragg or Mendocino. We didn't do much cooking but the kitchen seemed well equipped.

We were looking for a peaceful spot to spend my birthday with our dogs and Toni’s place did not disappoint! The hot tub on the deck was perfect and the gated deck was great peace of mind for us to let our dogs relax outside without worry while we soaked. It was a bit too chilly for any real river time but Toni made sure we had access to it after a tree had fallen onto her typical path, which was very thoughtful. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely home and huge! They had a good stereo but didn’t have the right connections for our phones, and had no way to listen to music. Vacasa office told us that we didn’t need to pick up the packet- which we appreciated because we were late - but then we discovered we had to have parking passes or they would boot our car until we paid cash for the fine. Would be easier to put parking passes in the house.

This stay exceeded all expectations, we loved it! The space was immaculately clean and more spacious than the photos suggested. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—we had everything we needed and more including Spanish Paprika! The magical jacuzzi under the stars with the sound of waves crashing was the cherry on top. There were issues initially with permits of our previous booking, Vacasa was also very proactive and helpful throughout the booking process and responsive in all communications, which made everything seamless. We’d return in a heartbeat!

Beautiful home perfectly situated on a quiet cul-de-sac. Gorgeous ocean views with a lovely deck with dining table and outdoor seating area with gas fireplace. Spacious kitchen and living room - plenty of space for our family with two young kids.

Wow! This home has an exceptional setting - the spectacular views of the ocean from the great room are mesmerizing. The master bedroom and lower level bedrooms all have gorgeous views of the ocean as well. The Ocean Bluff Trail passes right behind the house, making it so convenient to explore the coast. Great for nature lovers - we saw seals, deer, rabbits, fox, and many varieties of sea birds. Also the home is pet friendly and our dog loved it! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Beautiful and super clean house in the magical woods. We loved the window seats everywhere and watching the deer visit every day. The beds are very comfy and towels plush. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub under the stars. Some aspects of the house are a little more rustic than modern, but still very comfortable and cozy. The owner is super responsive and thoughtful and obviously cares a lot about her home.

Stunning property with ocean views from the living room. This classic Sea Ranch architecture is beautifully complemented by tasteful decor and a well-stocked kitchen. We truly felt at home and had a wonderful time. Willa and Craig were fantastic hosts—providing clear directions, helpful local tips, and being readily available if we needed anything. We’d love to return!

We have stayed at many homes in Sea Ranch. Abalone Bay is by far the cleanest, most organized, meticulously curated and most convenient. It is a beautiful home. Beautiful views, well manicured and designed outdoor space (we brought our dogs). The house had everything we needed and more. It was perfect. And Donna was incredibly helpful, proactively considerate of what we might need, & was great with local tips and insight (I.e. suggested the sea ranch Turkey trot!). We had an excellent time and felt completely at home.

This was so perfect for us. Our family felt right at home the second we walked in the door. It was so cozy and comfortable, everything was easy to find- felt like walking into our own family cottage. I highly recommend! It was a fabulous place to rest and regroup on our way up the coast.

Hollys Meadow is beyond compare…absolutely magical! Our extended family of 9 bonded with the unique experiences of fishing in the private alcove of beach, bonfires, and roaming and relaxing in the extensive and beautifully landscaped grounds! The house is great for a group, offering a great layout for privacy in baths and bedrooms,, and gathering areas. We loved cooking in the open kitchen with the huge island prep area with seating for easy community The house is immaculate, excellently stocked for dinner preps and serving options. The bedding is comfy and the laundry room appreciated There are no words to express our gratitude to Holly for offering this beautiful venue. Our family made many cherished memories at her amazing place! We will definitely seek Hollys Meadow for our next trip to Ft Bragg!

An unbelievable experience - the place has an unbeatable view and is just stunning all around. Can’t say enough good things about this Airbnb - would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a relaxing getaway.

Great location on the river. No dock but there is a private beach with access from the backyard. The beach access is shared with the next door neighbor (and maybe some other locals coming through the other neighboring property that is currently under construction). Stumptown Brewery is almost directly across the river. My husband kayaked over with our friend almost every day. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need to cook. It feels like a home that has been lived in and loved for a few generations. We brought our own kayaks and floaties, there were none on site. The only thing this place was missing was an outdoor firepit. We would return!

Beautiful, well-appointed home at iconic development in spectacular Coastal Sonoma. Very comfortable. Enjoyed walking the bluffs, whale watching and star gazing. Great access to tennis and pool in community rec center. No shopping nearby so remember to stock up on supplies before arriving.

The place was an oasis away from the busyness of life. My wife did not want to go anywhere during the day. She and the family loved it! We hope to return soon.

We had the best time at Charlie’s home and made some great memories! The home was super spacious, clean, and had all the amenities needed. We especially loved how the natural light flowed into the kitchen and dining room. The views of the river and redwood trees was so breathtaking. It’s also in a great location, just a few minutes from Guernville and a Safeway if you need groceries. We are already talking about coming back next summer. Thank you Charlie!

We were in Fort Bragg for a very special weekend and Karyn's home took our celebration to the next level. It's beautiful, warm and homey. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need. The fire pit, view, deck, comfortable beds .. it is truly the perfect setting and heals the soul. Karyn is amazing! Very responsive and kind. Ultimate host! My family and I decided that we are going to make this trip again and will only stay here. If you are thinking of vacationing here, don't second guess it...Do it!!!!
