Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Welkom op onze karakteristieke boerderij, waarvan de eerste beschrijving teruggaat tot circa 1840. Gelegen in het schilderachtige buitengebied van Abcoude, aan het kronkelende riviertje het Gein bieden wij een unieke plek om tot rust te komen, met de stad Amsterdam op steenworp afstand. De boerderij is nog volop in gebruik, met paarden, koeien en schapen. Toch ben je binnen 7 minuten lopen bij station Abcoude, vanwaar je in slechts 15 minuten het centrum van Amsterdam bereikt.

Our house is light, attractive, comfortable and focuses on the spacious garden with terrace and veranda. The garden gives a lot of privacy. In the summer our house really feels like a holiday home, in the winter it is romantic with the fireplace.
