Use the kayaks to paddle around Gig Harbor--or paddle to the Tides Tavern or Anthony's seafood for lunch! Complete with two en suite staterooms, a cozy living room, and a view of sunsets and Mount Rainier! Please read the "Guest access" section for property use restrictions. Come relax at Shadie Pines! You can sit back and enjoy the view of Puget Sound and Mount Rainier from the deck (or from in the hot tub!), listen to the birds sing and the seals barking, and say hello to the friendly neighborhood deer. The house is comfortably situated in the middle of the Hartstene Pointe gated community, which has a number of great amenities for you to enjoy. Our favorite features are the 5 miles of walking trails and beaches all around the point, the pool and pickleball!

Enjoy the private lakefront and dock on the property and a brand new kitchen (remodeled 2024)! This classic 1-bed + loft A-frame is great for couples or small families who enjoy the outdoors! The bedroom features bunk beds for the little ones while the loft features a mid-century modern Queen bed for the grown-ups. Basic kayaks, inflatables, and life jackets are provided! Enjoy the peace & serenity of a quiet, non-motorized little lake in the woods in a classic, vintage A-Frame.

Sunset Lagoon Retreat is located on a private island in the Puget Sound of Washington. This is 20ft Cheyenne Tipi with a separate heated bath hut and small cook hut is located in Lakebay, WA. Views across Puget Sound & Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, deer in the yard and bald eagles soaring above. This is glamping at its finest. When you wake in the morning, for heat you have central heating from a real furnace. Lying in bed you can control lights, Smart TV, and even the google hub. We can add a 4 people tent as well as a ‘pak ‘n play for infants upon request.

For fine dining (or just great, casual food), visit nearby Gig Harbor or stay and cook in the well-equipped kitchen.
