There is a Hearthstone gas stove, a loveseat, and a huge custom shower in a modern bathroom. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a kitchen counter and sink, a microwave, a blender and crock pot. There is a television with cable, Netflix, etc. We stock coffee, and breakfast foods for your convenience.

Many great restaurants within minutes of this location or you can cook your own meals in the full kitchen. We are close to hiking, biking, kayaking and much more. We're close to the center of town, university, shopping plazas, hiking trails, Interstate 93 and ski resorts. State parks and Newfound, Winnipesaukee & Squam Lakes are easily accessible by car. Great base for hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, fall sand sculptures, leaf peeping, skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing, biking and nearby ice castles.

The Back 80 Yurt

Is a spacious 24 foot Yurt next to Mt Cardigan state park. From the Yurt you can hike ,snow shoe or backcountry ski on miles of well marked AMC trails , as well as climb Firescrew and Mt Cardigan. This is the only off-grid Yurt acessable to the AMC state park. This is not a drive up, in the winter prepare to hike 1 mile, and in the summer 300 yards up a windy forest path. The Yurt has everything you will want from a wood stove , cook stoves. We have raised the price for plowing cost
