Lovely house and neighborhood that was perfect for the children and I. We traveled for a family funeral and my siblings also came by to tell stories while sitting in the back garden. My siblings were also impressed with the house and surrounding area. The house was 15 minutes from Kansas City International, but you don't hear aircraft landing or taking off. We didn't have time to visit museums or other local sites.

We had a great time! Your home was a perfect fit to celebrate our son’s birthday, and accommodate our out of town friends! It was easy access to local grocery stores, outlets, and downtown Kansas City. Most importantly, we felt at home and comfortable! We had a chance to interact with neighbors, and young boys playing basketball. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Most likely to stay again! Blessings, The Forte’

We loved the house! It had plenty of room to spread out. The linen was clean and towels smelled so fresh! Had all the amenities you would need. Felt very at home walking in the front door! The back porch area with hot tub is an amazing space. Will be booking again in the future!

Cozy place. Everything you would need for accommodating a large group.Beds are comfortable and the linens smelled so good.

Five stars all around. Darla's cottage is in a great location for visiting the college. It was very clean, had comfortable beds and in a quiet neighborhood. The shower water pressure and temperature were amazing. Easy parking in back right next to the steps up to the back door.

Being from Kansas City and needing to venture northland for a funeral in the Tarkio/Westboro/Rockport area, our host took away any anxiety we had about the geographically unknown area. Our host made it so easy to find, the property was remodeled beautifully and the comforts and decor allowed us to take our concern away from where to stay and concentrate on why we were there, for our beautiful family friend that recently passed. Our hearts were heavy, but our surroundings felt like home with all the comforts of such. We slept so well, felt 100% safe, and all the furniture was clean, comfortable and very cozy. Thank you for everything and if we ever want/need to stay in the area, this will be our first choice!

This was a great place to stay and so accurate to the description. We really enjoyed the space and the kitchen for family gathering to eat and play cards together which was absolutely perfect and accomplished our intentions. The hosts were super friendly and communicative.

This house was perfect for our family when attending a wedding in Parkville. The home has 2 living rooms, 4 bedrooms and 4 baths made it easy for us all to sleep, get ready and relax! The host was super responsive and accommodating to the point of dropping off an air mattress and sheets for my son when the current one in the home sprung a leak. There are a lot of steps to enter this home but we knew that before staying and we didn’t have any problems with it. It’s walkable to the quaint downtown of Parkville which we enjoyed shopping, eating and grabbing our morning coffee.

Mike replied to anything I asked about. The house was a great price for a group of 4 out in MO for some snow goose hunting. It allowed for the relaxation of space in a house with cheaper pricing than a hotel room. The few extra miles of driving to where we were hunting was definitely worth it. If we are ever back in the area to hunt I will definitely book this location again.

Nice clean three bedroom home in a nice neighborhood, close to stores and restaurants. Perfect fit our budget and needs. Will stay here again!

The BEST location to the stadium with a wonderful backyard for tailgating. We brought our kids and grandkids (9 of us in total) and there was plenty of room for us (we had 3 pack & plays). There is only 1 bathroom but it wasn’t really a bother. We would stay here again!

We drove from IL and had an accident. The 9hr trip took 17 and we were STRESSED! As soon as I opened the door every bit of the days stress melted away! We felt right at home! And we slept like babies! I loved walking my dog in the morning on the property with some coffee! Perfect! Kathy was kind enough to let me put up a Christmas tree and I had everything for our family dinner! I am definitely hoping to stay again! Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful home! We felt very blessed indeed! If I had one little thing to say in the con column would be, I have a very bad back, fused, I couldn't sit on the furniture in family room because it was so low to the ground. I solved the problem by bringing in the great bentwood rocker from porch put a pillow on it and I was perfect as I'm a rocker anyway! Thank you again for a vacation I never forget! We would recommend North Arrow to anyone!! 5 stars from us!!!

The house was perfect for our small group and could easily accommodate a much larger group comfortably. The beds we used were very comfortable and the living space and kitchen were spacious. David was great!

Love Manhattan, KS and to find this gem to stay over on our way to Colorado with our pets was amazing! We wanted for nothing. Very close to all the amazing restaurants and parks!

OMG!!!!If you’re ever in Kansas City area, please check out this place!! Absolutely AMAZING!!! Very spacious and my family had PLENTY of room!!!!! There was plenty of eating and shopping within 1 mile!! The pictures posted does not do justice!!! I was blown away when i went inside!!! Very Beautiful home!!!! Sycamore Springs is a delightful getaway and gathering place. We stayed with four other families in the guest house for the weekend as my son was getting married in Sabetha. Loved the surroundings and the house. Charming and historical. It was very interesting to learn the history of the home/hotel and Springs through the literature at the guest table. Our families were able to gather and fellowship through out the weekend in the lovely comfortable open kitchen and living room. We laughed and cried and celebrated a sweet marriage and Christ's resurrection this weekend together. Thank you to Kent and the team at Sycamore Springs.

David’s place was super clean, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The house was located at a great spot not too far from restaurants. David was very responsive and made sure we had everything for a great stay!
