Our stay at Chelsea and Mathew’s cottage was top notch. The communication and instructions on all things related to the cottage were detailed and clear. From prior to booking and throughout the stay the communication was excellent. The house was clean and well kept, charming and welcoming. The bonus features of the wood burning stove and hot tub made this a must stay location for us and we couldn’t have been happier with what they added to the overall experience. I highly recommend the spot for its proximity to Black Mountain, what the house offers and the hosts were fantastic. We’ll be back for sure!

Everything was great. We're so glad we stayed here. Everything was so easy here and it was so close to everywhere we needed to go.

We LOVED our girls weekend away. The 3 bedrooms and sleeper sofa offered ample space for everyone to spread out. The space had everything we could ask for! Unfortunately it was a wet weekend and we did not have a chance to make a fire / roast smores, however, we enjoyed so much more. We made our morning coffee and took the short walk to the waterfront to take in the surroundings while the sky was clear. Once back at the house, we were able to enjoy the outdoor space to the fullest - hot tub and there is a spacious pergola covering the patio set so we could sit outside to eat, play cards and stayed dry! And morning two, coffee on the front porch while rocking on the coziest of chairs. A great stay!

Nice private area, close by to a few small-towns for groceries, gas, etc. Property was very scenic and often only sounds that could be heard were birds. Slept 5 comfortably and never felt crowded. 10/10

We had a great time staying here! The place was clean, and had everything we needed for a fun trip. The hosts were super friendly and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

We had a last moment odd request, and we are grateful that Alexa was able to honor it. The cottage was centrally located to everywhere we needed to go during our stay, which was super convenient. The weather wasn't always cooperative for hot tub use, but we did get an excellent view of the Big Dipper through the skylight. The kitchen and dining area are well laid out, and worked nicely for all the meals we prepared and ate at the cottage. Having the hot/cool/cold water dispenser was very convenient, and the water tasted great. We did not need to use our travel water filter at all because of the dispenser. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the cottage.

Nice and cozy cabin! Super responsive host with great touches to the cabin. Didn't get to enjoy the hot tub because it took too much time to get it fully heated and unfortunately weren't at the cabin for several hours leading up to when we wanted to use it but if you have the time to tend to it, I'm sure it's lovely. Fully stocked kitchen which was great for cooking a group meal.

This was a great get away. Right on the lake with the convenience of using their kayaks, row boat, and peddleboat. Also had an array of life jackets for everyone to be safe. Scenery is beautiful, location is peaceful! We read, kayaked, played pinpong in their basement, sat around the firepit and listened to nature! The house is exactly how you see it in the pics, plus better! The home is spotless and has everything you need! Host Heidi is very responsive! They even have many board games and puzzles to play. This place is perfect! The house is so cute and cozy we didn’t want to leave. The hosts left a hand written card and a bottle of wine for us when we arrived, which was so thoughtful. Beautiful views and tons of privacy. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone!

Great location and cozy home with great ambiance, decor, and all of the necessities. The spiral staircase and upstairs rooms felt much smaller in person but no major issues! If you're bringing dog(s) that may have noise sensitivity like ours sometimes do - note that the walls to nextdoor Airbnb are quite thin. The dogs also had difficulty on the stairs - one learned to go up and down by training and the other one had to be carried up and down 😂 Hosts were great!

Adorable, quaint, clean, well maintained house. Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Host was very friendly and responsive.

Great view and cabin was actually clean. Peaceful week on the lake. The area was fun. Found the alpaca farm open in the weekend close by and got to feed them. Picked the best apples we've ever had at Libbys U Pik not far from cabin. Shopped at the Limerick market and found Shaines of Maine icecream. Tried Black Rasberry and Grapenut yummy on both. They had lots of other specialty items. Fried chicken was great too. Also shopped close by at the Ye Old Sale Shop and found some wonderful vintage treasures. Had a great time at the cabin and surrounding area. Would totally come back this summer to get on the lake in the kayaks when its warmer and have another great week. The porch is the ultimate lake porch. The cats and ourselves thoroughly enjoyed the lake view all week Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Our stay was perfect and exactly what we ordered. Secluded but still only a short 15-20 min from restaurants and stores. Helen was excellent at communicating within only minutes. For people with kids this would be perfect cause of all the bunk beds. We unfortunately didn’t use the deck much because of the weather but a night out there overlooking the water would have been so amazing so I highly recommend booking for that alone.

Thank you very much Joan for a nice week for me and the kids. It was just what the doctor ordered, and a good change of scene where we could put away the devices and pick up a board game and relax! The weather did not quite cooperate as it was extremely cold and windy, with a heavy snowstorm to start the week. Luckily Joan was very communicative and flexible around the storm and ensured we were able to get up there safe and sound to hunker down as the snow fell down. The kids (13 & 10) and I got in a good routine of cross country skiing and exploring the lake together, playing some board games, and enjoying the jacuzzi! We ended up housebound for a good chunk of the trip so it was nice to have such a cozy place to have as our home base. Take care and hope to be back someday! Jeremy

We spent nearly a week at the cabin. We had sun, snow and rain while we were there, but we didn’t care! The cabin is comfy and cozy. It had everything we wanted for a relaxing visit, including a fireplace. The decor is cute and comfy. The bathroom, including the shower and BIG towels, was perfect. Nestled in the trees, on the river, it uwill be an awesome place to visit this summer.

We had a wonderful time staying in Middleton, NH. The lake is beautiful!

The Place was Very beautiful, Calm and peaceful! Loved the Paddle boats and The ping pong table ! Very fun and relaxing! Felt right at home !

Dianne’s place was just right for my small family of three! The place was clean and well kept and had all the amenities one could need and even more than we expected. There was some construction going on at the house next door, which was a bit disappointing, but just a reminder that the house is in a community and not to expect complete silence at all times. Dianne was very responsive and kind, and all in all we had a very lovely time.

We rented one of the cabins at Lakehurst Cottages for a week in August. We were nervous because we were bringing up our boat and had a bad experience at another lake last year. Jim and Janet were so reassuring as to where we could keep the trailer and the location of a convenient boat launch. It all worked out great! Our cottage was a delightful 1 bedroom with sliders all around. There was everything we needed to cook meals. They have a fire pit with wood if you want to make a fire, or chairs to sit in by the water. Downtown Alton Bay was 4 miles away and we enjoyed walking around during an annual festival and craft fair. The town docks are plentiful and convenient if you have a boat. There is so much to do at Lake Winnipesauke and this cabin was in such a great location with great hosts - and guests!

Loved staying in the little cottage. It was the perfect location for what we had planned that weekend. I will definitely consider booking this place again.

Marina’s little cottage is a gem which we highly recommend. It is situated high above the peaceful and quaint lake providing interesting views. The sunrise while sitting on the dock was a favorite. A great place to get some reading done without everyday distractions. Everything was clean, neat and organized! The new kitchen was a treat! For a small place it is very spacious inside, beds and sitting areas comfy and everything one needs for a pleasant stay. Marina gets an A+ for communication. We may be back next year and will recommend it to friends and family. Please don’t hesitate to book this place for a relaxing getaway.

Marcela and Josh were amazing hosts. The space was awesome, they were flexible with our arrival and departure times from the property which was a major stress relief. We had such a great time and definitely will be back next time we’re in the area!
