Suitable for singles or couples; this space is not child safe and ALL guests must be 20+. Minimum two night stay.

Welcome to the historical Perth area. We hope you will enjoy your stay at our rural setting, close to amenities but surrounded by the sounds of the countryside. Our house has all the comforts of home with beautiful open vistas visible out each window. This property was deeded to the Motherwell family following the War of 1812, staying in their family name 100 years. The interior of the house is fully renovated with some exterior projects ongoing. HST included in our pricing.

Located on a bend in the river you will feel surrounded by tranquil natural beauty. The entire front of the house is windows, looking out at the river and boasts a very well appointed kitchen, sauna and hot tub. This is a perfect getaway for up to 6 people. In the summer you can fish and swim right off the end of the dock on the property. In the winter go from the fire pit to the sauna to the hot tub and if you’re really brave, cold plunge in the river! A true spa-like feel.

North Sky Retreat

This "rustic chic" home has been designed with your every comfort in mind. There will be no "roughing it" in this rural cottage, nestled in the beautiful Lanark Highlands. North Sky is a perfect getaway for everyone. In winter, we are close to the Snow Road snowmobile trails. In late winter, early spring - we are right in the middle of Maple Syrup country! The cabin features infloor heating and a woodstove to keep you warm and cozy. We have a full-size hot tub and a wood fired sauna!

Our home is spacious and bright and just steps away from historic downtown Almonte with its vibrant main street and amazing waterfalls. We are situated beside a beautiful park where you can sit and relax, walk the trails, play frisbee golf, hit the splash pad and swings, or head down the hill to a park that sits on the edge of the Mississippi River. For cyclists, we are located just off the OVRT. Electric car owner? There is a charging station just 100m from the house.

40 minutes west of Kanata, ON in Lanark Highlands, 20 kms west of Almonte. The Gate House is a renovated 150 year old log building with 2 single beds, in floor heating, bathroom with shower & kitchenette with hot plate, toaster oven, coffee maker, small fridge & microwave, dining & sitting area. We also have the Doll House which has a queen size bed, bathroom & an outdoor hot shower for $95 a night, it is heated & air conditioned. See my other listing. Enjoy the farm!

BEDDING IS NOT PROVIDED PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS AND BLANKETS.
