Enjoy a local pinot on the patio in summer or in front of the cosy wood fire in winter whilst watching for wallabies, cute little pademelons or our resident echidna. Our property is off grid; powered by the sun and surrounded by one of the last tracts of natural bushland close to Launceston. We are located just 10 minutes from the city, where the iconic Tamar Valley Wine Route begins and the unique Tamar Island Wetlands provide one of the most popular visitor attractions in Northern Tasmania.

Lalla Flower Cottage - famous garden, wine region

Restored century old cottage set on very private 30 acres with direct walking access to the adjoining majestic Lalla Flower Farm (100 acres of historic gardens). Situated just 20 minutes drive from Launceston and 2 mins from the amenities of the village of Lilydale in the heart of the Tamar Valley wine region. Lalla Flower Cottage is a beautiful country Tasmanian retreat with two cosy living spaces with wood fires, privacy and loads of charm.

The Clan Cabin

The Cabin is a 1 Bedroom cottage (interior 45m2) built in 2019 below our existing house and looking north over Tam O'Shanter Beach to Bass Strait. There is a queen bed, full kitchen, bathroom and laundry plus undercover outdoor area (20m2). The cabin overlooks Lulworth/Tam O'Shanter Beach (1km+ of sand). Note we have two newer cabins of same design listed under "Tam O Shanter Bayside Cabins (3)"
