Super convenient little place in the heart of Gatehouse of Fleet. The property was well presented and absolutely spotless. A parking space conveniently right outside the property. My stay was quite short and I didn't need to cook or use the kitchen, but it was well equipped and clean. A complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch, even if I didn't manage to drink it! There were no problems at all with check-in and Julie left clear instructions. I will definitely rent again if available when I next stay in Gatehouse!

The place was great,spotless,peaceful and had great tv. the bed was so comfy,room spotless. the only thing I would say is need a wee lamp in bedroom. all the house was amazingly clean and fresh. Nice touch to have tea and coffee with milk there for us. Sher was easy to contact and replied quickly. would make a great base to travel from. we will return. thanks Sher

Great location, and amazing apartment on the water front…highly recommend this property!!

Lovely place to bring our two dogs for an overnight stay and we all felt right at home. Plenty of on street parking near the flat and a very short walk to the promenade. Due to arriving late afternoon we didn’t get to see much more of Troon but we will be back and would recommend Emma’s apartment to anyone visiting the area :)

Joanna made my booking and stay stress free and surprised us with a lovely thoughtful welcome gift. The caravan was immaculate and spacious for us to have a relaxing few days celebrating family.

What a lovely peaceful getaway this was! I had booked this for me and my boyfriend and it was amazing, we had originally booked for 2 nights and decided that just wasn’t enough so booked another night when we were there. It is around 10/15 mins from villages/towns so very peaceful no noise. The Galloway cabins were spotless and clean when arrived. Hosts replied within a good amount of time when questions were asked and Lorraine was really helpful when we had booked another night. Would really recommend this place and would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful two-day stay at the Flat at Aikton Arms. The remote and peaceful location, surrounded by farms, provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While it’s not a touristy destination, it offers a tranquil hideout away from the crowds. Just an hour away, we could easily explore many of the Lake District’s attractions.

I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

We had a fantastic few days away in this house. there was plenty of space for two families of four and a dog. The enclosed garden and garden furniture were a great addition, especially as the weather was lovely while we were there. Would definitely book again in the future.

Highly recommend the property. Very well presented throughout and had a beautiful private garden with seating area. The house is well equipped with everything that you could need. Within walking distance of the town and only a few minutes walk from a great restaurant

Beautiful house with so much character. The location was so peaceful yet close to Dumfries where we were easily able to get take-out for dinner. We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way home but we found the house to be comfortable and well-equipped. The milk and water in the fridge plus all the seasonings/spices in the kitchen were such a nice surprise that we don't often find in AirBnBs, as were the very nice bathroom amenities. The only thing I'd mention - our daughter had us up at 5:30 am because there are only curtains, no blinds/shutters, in the bedrooms and, although the curtains are thick, it was still very bright in the bedrooms as soon as the sun started rising, which is very early at this time of year. Just keep this in mind if you're coming with young kids who are light sleepers!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy, neat family home in Gretna Green. It was perfect for our family of four, including two teenagers, when we attended a family wedding. The location was ideal; just a short walk to the wedding venue, which made everything so convenient for us. The house was clean, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It really felt like a home away from home. The later check out time was a nice bonus and gave us a bit more time to relax before heading off. We didn't get much time to explore the surroundings, but we did find a lovely farm shop at Gretna Green were we could buy some fresh Scottish breakfast items. If we ever visit Gretna Green again, we would definitely book Kyle's place.

Me and my husband stayed here for our 4th wedding anniversary with our 14 month old daughter and our dog. Cleugh Cottage's beautiful charm made it one we will remember. From checking in and finding a bottle of Prosecco await us to spending the evenings in the hot tub looking over the river it was just so special! Martyn was a great host and has clearly put a lot of love into this property. We hope to return again.

A great accommodation for a family get together! Spacious, clean, so much storage space and an ideal location for a walk into town. The darts board was a hit and the views from the hot tub and top windows were beautiful. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Thank you!

My family and I stayed in Haylie’s property for a nearby wedding. The property was exactly as described, with plenty of character, comfortable bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Haylie provided everything guests could need and want for a stay, including toiletries and a well stocked kitchen. There are plenty of mirrors too for those groups needing to get ready for a special occasion. The area is very peaceful, with the nearest beach a short distance away. A lovely spot to have a cup of tea in the morning and listen to the birds! The nearest large supermarket is about 10 minutes away. I would recommend for couples and large parties looking to stay in the area. Thanks Haylie!

Adrian and Stefania's annexe was perfect for us to get away into Cumbria. It is a great location, peaceful and a really beautifully established property. Alot of thought and care has gone into creating a lovely calm place for guests to stay. Adrian and Stefania made us feel very welcome and were readily available to help with anything we might have wanted - though they had thought of everything. The little touches always make you feel welcome- from the greeting goodies to a warm freshly baked croissant breakfast on departure morning. Thank you for sharing your wonderful space with us. James was very attentive and friendly. When we had a problem he arrived within minutes. The flat was spacious and had recently been modernised with new kitchen and bathroom. We chose this accommodation as we were at the Jazz Festival and were only a few minutes away from the venues and the town centre. Have no reservations in recommending this accommodation

An Easter Break at The Beehive ,Grasmere. From clear communication & instruction, The Beehive was a perfect place to spend the Easter Break in the Lake District. Accurate description, spotlessly clean. Complimentary bottle of wine and a lovely fruit cake on arrival . The decor was lovely throughout & the apartment had everything we needed during our stay. The views from the communal garden space were lovely & an easy walk into Grasmere took us to some lovely eateries . Really enjoyed the Distillery & The Swan Hotel . Rather than use the car we hopped on & off the regular 555 & 599 buses to Ambleside, Keswick . They were so easy & cheap too. With a flexible check in & out and great communication we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will surely return . Thanks

Beautiful apparent with lots of things to do aroud. Very clean and organised and a very friendly hoast. Spacious bathroom, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Overall a beautiful weekend away.
