Boligen er i naturskjønne omgivelser, slik at naturopplevelser som nordlys, fjellturer eller bare en rolig kveld rundt bålpanna på terrassen kan nytes. Hytten ligger skjermet fra gården og langs Signaldalselven, der det går en tursti på 3 km som starter fra hytten. Northern lights rett utenfor hytta. kort vei til høyfjellet for ski/isklatring/ toppturer/fotturer/jakt og Nordlys opplevelser. Området hytten ligger på er et kjent sted for nordlysturister og man kan ta fine bilder av nordlyset med Otertinden i bakgrunnen.
