Margate : locations de vacances dans des chalets

I took my girls on a last minute break to the sea, as the weather was looking good. I had never visited this area, so was keen to check it out.. Very well run campsite and lovely facilities. The beach is very close but a step walk so carrying my paddle board home each time was a work out! We brought most of our own food and ate in DEAL twice. Lots a great cafes and shops to try. We drove but if we had bikes we would have used them instead as there is a long promenade all the way to DEAL. All in all a fab few days. Weather turned for the worse but had some lovely windy walks but the sea too. We had a lovely time and wish we could have stayed longer .Hope we will be back again.

Cosy and well equipped chalet perfect for a family stay, great location near the beach and lovely seafront pub. The chalet is walking distance to plenty of coastal hikes too. Modern kitchen with everything we needed, nice welcome hamper with eggs, butter, bread, snacks and wine was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Lovely cosy lounge/dining area. Comfy beds with nice bed linen and soft towels supplied for pool swims. Plenty of things to do in the park too-tennis, crazy golf... Alison was a great host and brilliant communication prior and during our stay. Perfect spot for a coastal holiday! We will be back in the summer!

We have stayed at the holiday park before, so already knew we loved the location (loads of activities, right by the beach, safe for kids, etc). Racheal's place is a premium chalet. The layout is great and it's decorated to a high standard, with loads of amenities. Games and books for the kids and wine & choc in the fridge were lovely touches. It's close to the entrance and rose garden, with a view of the sea from the sun-soaked decking. We just hope it's available to book when we next return to the park!

I booked a weekend stay for my husband at the chalet and he absolutely loved it. He said: I loved the stay at Rachel's chalet! the place is exactly as the photos showed, the instructions were to the letter and the recommendations were spot on. Rachel was very responsive to messages if there were any questions and simultaneously respected the privacy of the guest! Thank you Rachel! I look forward to coming back!

We had a lovely short Easter break at Wayfarers cabin. The sea views from the cabin are wonderful. It’s in a peaceful location with plenty of space around it, and it was very relaxing being there. We especially enjoyed having our breakfast in the sunshine on the lovely terrace. There are plenty of places to eat out either in Kingsdown (3 pubs) or a bit further along coast in Deal. There are also lots of things to do within a short drive. We visited Dover Castle & Port Lympne Zoo. June was very helpful, responsive and sent through lots of useful information prior to and during our stay. We definitely recommend - especially for families.

Christine and Graham's place is welcoming and well-thought-through. It is one of the smartest, and definitely one of the most flowery chalets in that friendly low-key resort. It makes for a great base to explore the area. Christine's welcome was warm and lovely. We had a great time. There are not many holiday rentals that feature a Champagne cork stopper! You really can't fault the place.

We had an amazing stay at Monica’s chalet! The space is beautifully decorated and cleverly designed to make the most of the compact layout—everything you need has been thoughtfully included. The location is truly epic, with stunning sea views that were a real bonus. We were also lucky enough to meet Monica and her husband during our stay; they were incredibly welcoming and shared some great local tips, from early morning patisseries at the nearby pub to beautiful bluebell walks. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cabin. Kids loved having their own room and bathroom. Pleasantly surprised with having an en suite. Bed linen and towels provided. Was really handy having a washing machine/dishwasher with detergent too! Really lovely to sit out on the decked area, was quite the sun trap 🤩 Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you

Nice stay! Comfortable beds, clean rooms, thoughtfully laid out, well equipped, and so close to great walks and heritage sites. The kids loved the indoor pool. The chalet is probably meant to be enjoyed best in warmer weather but Neil provided enough space heaters to keep warm. The electricity is run on coin meter- took about 6-7£ for 2 days in February, could probably get away with half of that in warmer months.
